Placements: Placements were average but slowly improving. Some students from ECE got placed in IT companies such as HCL, TCS, or Wipro. However, core electronics jobs were rare on campus. Most of us are prepared for off-campus drives or exams like GATE, SSC JE, or PSU recruitment.

Faculty: Academically, the college was strong. In Electronics Engineering, we covered subjects like digital electronics, communication systems, microcontrollers, etc. Faculty was experienced, and they explained concepts clearly. If you were serious about learning or preparing for GATE/PSUs, you would have found good support.

Other: It is a very good college. Campus life at IERT was simple and study-focused. There were not many cultural events or fests, and rules were quite strict. It was not a place for a happening college life, but if you were focused on academics, the peaceful environment helped. If your priority was to build a strong academic foundation at a low cost and you were okay with basic infrastructure and a quiet environment, then IERT was a great option. You just had to be ready to take initiative for placements and personal growth.
