The only difference is name of the degree one is MMS and other is PGDM. Since I am a PGDM student, I can say in PGDM, since the colleges have autonomy the curriculum can be updated regularly depending on the need in the Industry. Hence one can say that PGDM courses are more industry relevant, up to date as compared to MBA courses. Admission procedure is first you have to appear for entrance exams like MAT (till February month), CMAT, CAT, XAT, CET and ATMA. After getting your results, apply and fill the application form which is available on SIESCOMS official website. As per your results, you will be called for your GD/PI. Mostly, 2 personal interview will happen on the same day.After that results will be declared. Forms are made available for PGDM 2017. So, apply.
