The college is very good with good infrastructure and patient outflow.
Placements: The percentage of placement is 95+%.
All who got government jobs under NHM or others went for PG courses.
The percentage of internships is 100; it's done under the state government, and we got a stipend for it also, around 35k, which is the highest in India for MBBS students.
PG Radiology is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Yes, we get good infrastructure with a good library in our college.
Yes, the hostel is also good with good food. We have our personal ground also where every student can play.
In our college, there are other courses too, like B.Pharma, B.Sc. Nursing, etc. So you can choose SMCH for that also.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful.
The exams are not so much difficult. The pass percentage of last year is 99%.
There is huge patient outflow in Silchar Medical College.

Silchar Medical College is good.
Placements: I don't know about placements. There are around 200-300 students who are studying in our college. The salary offered is around Rs. 35,000 per month. We don't get internships in companies. Students get internships at medical colleges. The role offered is a compounder in the medical. Students who cleared their examinations are able for internships.
Infrastructure: We received many facilities like a lab, study hall, library, and many classrooms. The hostel is good, but I am from a middle-class background, so sometimes, I face issues. We have a sports week once a year. Our college provides facilities for games like badminton, ludo, chess, cricket, football, etc. Medical facilities are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are very friendly to students. They help students every moment in their studies. They guide students. We are very thankful to them. Semester exams are moderate. Exams help students to improve themselves. The pass percentage is 98%.
Other: I chose this course because it is related to medicine. Pharmacist plays an important role in society. It's related to human health. We have an annual fest in our college. I don't get any scholarship.

Overall, it will provide you the good knowledge for being a doctor.
Placements: All students will get an internship and are paid, as it is a government medical college so fees are provided. Total years you have to devote for this course; after that, one year of internship and one rural posting, you have to give the exam for further PG courses.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice; the campus of the college is now newly renovated and all the facilities are there. Hostels are provided to the students at a low cost and food is also provided in the hostel. The classroom contains projectors for a better teaching experience .
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and punctual. They will guide you nicely and will help the students be successful in their lives. You have to score above 50 percent to pass the exam; otherwise, you have to repeat the year.
Other: College Fest and many other functions are celebrated nicely on campus.
