The college has poor faculty support, weak placements, and a lack of basic facilities.
Placements: I am pursuing an MBA (HR & Finance) from Kumaun University, batch 2023-2025. Only around 1-20 percent of students are placed with an average package of 1- 1.2 LPA and the highest at 3 LPA. Only Teach Mahindra and Sherbull visit for placements, mostly selecting marketing students.
Infrastructure: The department has a basic infrastructure with classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library that is average in quality. There is no canteen, medical support, or sports and games facilities available. Hostel facilities are limited, and the mess food quality is below average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are extremely rude, approachable, and not supportive at all. During the final dissertation, no proper guidance is provided. Students are left confused, ignored, or even yelled at for asking questions. The curriculum is below average and lacks industry relevance.

I'm satisfied with college as good faculty members and placement are available.
Placements: Around 70%-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA in our course. Recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, etc. Around 70%- 80% of students secured internships. Roles offered are executive, analyst, finance executive, business analyst, data analytics, marketing and sales, human resources manager, etc.
Infrastructure: All basic facilities and infrastructure are available including labs, classrooms, and library everything is available. Hostel facility is available with good food in mess. Canteen is available with a good atmosphere. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games facilities are available with all necessary equipment.
Faculty: All faculty members are available. Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful and highly qualified with good teaching quality. Course curriculum provides almost everything helpful for students to make them industry-ready. Semester exams are of good level and students can perform well in college. Pass percentage is 90%-95%.
Other: As having a commerce and management background, I enrolled in this course as the college provides a dual specialization in MBA which is what makes it a special course. Almost everything is well planned for the course, but we can create a society of students to enhance the communication and personality side of students. Events and fests are organized by our college. Scholarships are available within college.
