B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
5Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Strong mechanical programme with good placements and supportive campus life.
Placements: I am from the 2022 to 2026 batch of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, and my experience has been very positive. About 85% of students in my course got placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Tata Motors, L&T, Mahindra, Bosch, Cummins, and Ashok Leyland. Around 70% also got internships in core engineering and manufacturing companies. Roles offered were Design Engineer, Production Engineer, and Quality Analyst.
Infrastructure: The Mechanical Engineering department offers excellent infrastructure, including spacious classrooms with projectors, high-speed Wi-Fi, and well-equipped CAD/CAM and thermal labs. The library is rich in technical books and journals. Hostels are clean, well-maintained, and have reliable internet. The mess serves decent, hygienic food with both vegetarian and occasional non veg options, and the canteen offers good snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus with a 24/7 ambulance service. Sports facilities include a large playground, indoor games, and a gym. Overall, both the course infrastructure and hostel amenities are designed to support academic focus while providing comfort and recreational opportunities for students.
Faculty: In my Mechanical Engineering department at SND College of Engineering, Yeola, the faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive. They explain concepts clearly, often using practical examples, and are always ready to help outside of class hours. The curriculum is well-structured and updated with industry trends, including hands-on projects and workshops that make students more industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on both theory and application. Regular study and guidance from faculty, most students perform well, and the overall pass percentage remains above 85%. The balanced approach to teaching and evaluation helps in building strong technical skills.
Other: The student of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering. I chose this course because of my interest in machines, design, and problem solving. The best part of my course is the practical exposure through workshops, industry visits, and hands on lab sessions. I wish there were more collaborations with industries for internships and real world projects. The campus hosts cultural and technical fests that are lively and engaging, with active participation from students. The crowd is friendly and diverse. The college offers scholarships to deserving students, and extracurricular activities like sports and clubs keep campus life vibrant. Connectivity to Yeola town is convenient.

B.E. in Electronics and Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.2
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Supportive faculty and decent campus life, but placements and practical exposure need improvement.
Placements: Around 72% of students got placed through campus placements in the final year. The highest package is 9 LPA (offered by Atlassian). Average package is 4.5 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. About 55% of students received internships during their pre-final year. Software development engineer (SDE), data analyst/data scientist, frontend/backend developer, system engineer, AI/ML Engineer, business analyst, and devOps engineer.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, modern labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library are available. Decent hostel rooms, average to good mess food, medical support available, and facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports, that's it.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good, with some faculty also involved in research. The curriculum is mostly industry-relevant, especially with lab work and electives. But students should also do online courses and projects for better industry readiness. Exams are of moderate difficulty. If you attend regularly and study well, it's easy to pass. Pass percentage is around 85%-95%.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in the subject and its good career opportunities. The best things about your course are the supportive faculty, practical labs, and a relevant syllabus. More real-world projects, updated tools, and better placement support. Good crowd, active fests, decent connectivity, peaceful surroundings, and available scholarship.

It is a very bad college and not good. There are not many facilities.
Placements: In college, there are no placements. No companies visit the college for placements. We all apply out off- campus and degrees are very useless of this college because no good teaching is present in this college. My English is also poor and I am not able to speak.
Infrastructure: There are no good facilities in our college for a hostel or no reactor is there. There is not any good facility in boys hotels.
Faculty: Exams are conducted strictly, and it is good. There is no cheating. If students take a VIP admission, then teachers provide chits to those students, and we sit and see them write a paper alone. They give money to the management to pass them. Teachers are also not taking an interest in teaching. It is a 3rd class college in Maharashtra. The college only needs money.

Great college. I would like to suggest to all.
Placements: My seniors are getting placed with average package of 7-9LPA which is great. More than 1024+ students are placed in companies like tcs, Wipro, byjus, etc. Placement rate is also good. Proper placement guidance is also given by placement staff.
Infrastructure: College facilities are also quite excellent. Each gets free Wi-Fi facility and great library, computer labs, etc. College majorly focuses on cleanliness. College hostel and canteen is also quite good. There is a gym, basketball court. Cricket ground etc.
Faculty: Teaching staff is really excellent where all the teaching staff focuses on students' problems and approach them to fix. They complete the syllabus on time and this makes the students industry ready.

Faculty: Our teachers are intelligent and helpful. They have 7 to 8 years of experience. Semester exams are difficult. Question papers come from SPPU Pune University. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Our college offers Maharashtra government's matriculation scholarships.

Absolutely a good college for the students who can’t afford to live in a metro city like Pune.
Placements: I am from the 2021 batch. We were during the Covid period so there were online exams. In covid period, the college provided some companies for the students. In my batch, almost 80% students were placed in different companies like bajaj and usha. The highest package was 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. There is development in building day by day. Wi-Fi facility is available for students in the hostel and in the college campus. There were several facilities provided for students in hostel like pure water for drinking and inverter, in case of light cut.
Faculty: The teachers in our college were mostly good. They used to bond with the students. They treated students like their own friends. Students were easily able to connect with the teachers. The college takes lots of exams for the preparation of the university’s final exams.
