The teachers are helpful in nature.

Placements: Companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. are coming for the campus placement. The college also provides the internship to the students. The average package offered by the companies is around Rs 7,00,000 per year.

Infrastructure: The college provides the medical facilities to the students at no cost. There is a well-equipped lab for the students with the latest software and hardware. There are various types of games available for the students to play. The college also provides a Wi-Fi facility for the students.

Faculty: The exams are held semester-wise as well as mid-semester-wise. The passing percentage is around 30% in each subject. This course makes the students industry-ready. This curriculum is designed to meet the needs of the IT industry and provide students with the skills they need to get the job.

Review for SNIT Masters of computer application.

Placements: SNIT provides very good placements to all the students and there are many firms that visit the campus every year for placement drives. The top recruiters are L&T, Kotak, ICICI etc. They provide packages of around INR 8-12 Lacs per annum. About 80% of the students got placed from my class.

Infrastructure: The campus is good enough. It has many clubs and activities to choose from and also the sports amenities are good with coaches to give a push to your career if interested in sports. Apart from that the campus has hostels that can accommodate around 6000 boys and 4000 girls at a time .

Faculty: The teachers here are very humble and always ready to help with anything you need, be it notes or internship referrals. The syllabus covers various topics over a span of 4 semesters keeping in mind that you're ready to step into industries upon graduation. The exams are hard to pass.

Top-Tier Placements, Lackluster Faculty.

Placements: In my batch, approximately 60% of students were successfully placed. The highest package offered was ?8 LPA, the lowest was ?2.5 LPA, and the average package was around ?4.5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Teach Mahindra. Around 40% of students secured internships, with companies such as HCL, Cognizant, and IBM offering roles. The most popular roles were software developed, data analyst, and system administration.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the BCA course was satisfactory. The classrooms were spacious, equipped with projectors, and had Wi-Fi access. The computer labs were modern and well-maintained, with updated software and hardware for hands-on learning. The library had a vast collection of books related to programming, databases, and other IT fields. For the hostel, the facilities were decent. Rooms were adequate furnished, but the cleanliness of washrooms could improve. The mess served a variety of meals, and the quality was decent but could use more variety. The campus also had good medical facilities, a well-equipped gym, and ample space for sports.

Faculty: The faculty members were highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They provided excellent guidance for academic projects and were approachable for doubts. The BCA curriculum was relevant and aligned with industry trends, covering emerging technologies such as cloud computing, Python programming, and machines learning. The semester exams were moderate difficult but fair, and the pass percentage in our batch was around 85%. Overall, the course provided the necessary foundation for a career in IT.

Other: I chose the BCA course for a strong foundation in IT and software development. The best aspects of the course were the practical learning opportunities, industry-relevant curriculum, and supportive faculty. However, more workshops on emerging technologies like AI and data Science would be beneficial. The campus was lively, with regular cultural fests, hackathons, and teach events. Connectivity to nearby cities was excellent, and the surroundings offered good amenities. Scholarships and extracurricular activities were available, adding to the overall experience.
