St. Berchmans College: 110 years of excellence. Ideal for higher studies with hostel, sports & Wi-Fi
Placements: I was placed with 85 percent marks in my plus two. The highest is 6-7 LPA, the average is 3-5, and the lowest is 1-2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Toyota, Royal Enfield, Tata Consultancies, Infosys, etc. Many got in Royal Enfield with 60 percent marks. Top roles are in tax analyst, general manager, company tax specialist, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in this college. We have many Wi-Fi zones in this college. The library is a huge one with 1000+ subscriptions. The hostel is very good, and the food also. We have canteens on every corner. The sports facilities are very good, having 3-4 grounds.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very good for teaching. They teach in practical methods and prepare the students to face the real industries. The semester exams are very easy; they are in MCQs. The pass mark is 50%, and the exams are conducted in a hall with 2-3 cameras.
Other: I chose this course because I like this accounting field. And the best thing is, I don't feel stress in this course. One thing I would say: the toilets are good, but the fests in this college should improve. Events are there but not so good! There are so many extracurricular activities to do besides your course.

An honest review of SB College by a graduate.
Placements: Around 30% of students from my batch got placed. The highest salary package is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. EY, Accenture, and Federal Bank were the top recruiters. Our course required an internship off campus. So the students should find it all by themselves. As it was compulsory, everyone got an internship.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi all around the campus, but only for break time. There are large, well-equipped labs for all departments. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Our library is one of the biggest libraries in Kerala. It's huge and has 5 floors. Hostels are nice, clean, and have a good ambience. There are 3 canteens on the campus. Mess and canteens provide good-quality food. Medical facilities are not provided inside the campus. That's a con. Sports are well encouraged, and many grounds are there.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well educated, but the main problem is the principal himself. He doesn't have a Ph.D. Teaching quality is top-notch. The syllabus is very updated. Semester exams are not that tough. But semester exams are conducted on a very constrained date. Pass percentage is more than 65%.
Other: I chose B.Com. because it has big scope in the current market. I think they should make the syllabus more flexible and short. Activities are rare in this college. The management won't allow students to conduct programs.

I am satisfied with our college.
Placements: Around 50-70 students got placements from our college. Top recruiting companies are Toyota, Royal Enfield, Infosys, Tata, HDFC Bank, etc. Many students got internships through the placement assistance cell in our college. Top roles offered are accountant and manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very modern. The library is top-notch with more than 1,000 journals and online subscribed books. Wi-Fi is available at many corners. Hostels are average. The sports facility is good. There are 4 grounds and 1 indoor stadium. We have 4 canteens in our college.
Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching faculty members are very kind and hardworking. There are qualified teachers. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are very easy. The passing mark is 50. It is easy to score.
Other: I love accounting field that's why I chose this course. The bathrooms are air conditioning should improve. Events and fests are here but not frequent but good .

Placements: I completed my B.Com from St. Berchmans College Kottayam. Around 90%+ students were placed in my department. Reputed banks like South Indian Bank, Federal Bank and SBI recruited students from our college. My friends are their employees now. Roles offered in these banks were office assistant clerk and assistant manager.
Infrastructure: In our commerce department, projectors were there for presentations or seminars in every classroom. Library is the heart of the college. The biggest library of MG university was in our college. Lab facility is extraordinary, spacious and neat.
Faculty: Teachers are gems. They help us not only in academics but also provide moral and personal support. Actually the college is an autonomous college, so the results are published within 1-2 months. Difficulty level of exams is above average. The pass percentage was 89 in 2021.
Other: A lot of opportunities are available for this course now. But my focus was to study the pattern of capital marketing and I believe I had done a good job. I think an improvement is required only in the case of social involvement. Teachers should teach how to behave in right way in any worst situation or good situation. The college conducted two fests, one our commerce fest and second the food fest. A number of extracurricular activities are there.

It is a very nice college with cruelest management and students can't have fun but can study.
Placements: About 40% of our students are placed through the SB placement cell. There are many opportunities at St. Berchmans college. We will get a salary of Rs.10000 to Rs.50000 per month. There are many companies like Infosys, EY, Wipro, Federal Bank, SBI, etc. About 20% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: We have lots of facilities and high-standard buildings at St. Berchmans College. Our college provides a football ground, Chemistry lab, Physics lab, Biology lab, library, the union office, computer labs, theater, shelters, canteen, lift, hockey ground, and cricket ground.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are not good. Exams are tough and valuation is not satisfactory. Lot of students get backpackers even if they write it well. Teachers are careless sometimes and students get depressed by getting unsatisfied mark sheets.
Other: B.Com is a very good course and we get many opportunities to study many add-on courses like tally peachtree, Excel, web designing, etc. We get many placement opportunities in this course and we can be placed in reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc.

A place that gives more beautiful memories.
Placements: Around 40 % of students got placed. The highest salary package offered by companies was around Rs. 30000 per month and the lowest salary package offered by companies was Rs. 15,000 per month. Deloitte, EY, TCS and Cognizant are the top recruiting companies. 100% of students got internships from our course. Business manager and business associate are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Our classroom is a smart classroom. Our college lab must have around 50 computers. There is a collection of books in our college library. Our library is very useful for all students. We get any genre of books from our library. Our hostel must have good facilities. Food available in the mess is very good and tasty.
Faculty: Our teachers are very qualified and experienced. They provide both academic and technical support to the students. They explain different topics with the help of presentations. Semester exams are not very difficult for students. Pass percentage for the exam is 35%.
Other: B.com is an interesting course compared to other courses. There are a lot of opportunities in this course.
