Negative side-

Certain departments require improvements to their infrastructure and facilities.Research and preparation for competitive tests receive less attention.Absence of recruiters from major brands seeking positions. Average pay scales are modest.There is hardly much research production or publishing from the college.

As per the latest cutoff is one have 80%-75% in class 12th, he/she can grab B.Sc in Computer Science From Open Category. For OBC (christian), OCH (Hindu), Muslim and Latin/Catholic Christians cutoff is 65%-70%. for Schedule Caste cutoff is 60%-65 % is also enough and for Schedule Tribe 60% is enough to grab an seat in any of B.Sc course at Vimala College, Thrissur.
