Amazing faculty and teachers, not satisfied with the lab computers.
Placements: The PG Diploma Course in Journalism and Digital Media has an amazing crowd from across India, coming from various streams. I am currently a student there, and we are a total of 9 people. As of now, none of us are doing any internships, but the college has tie-ups with channels like Times Now, Times of India, Star Sports, etc. Through a college internship, we can get job roles such as live reporter, copywriter, content writer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in the college is not working up to the mark. While using the lab, we often get our work done, but it takes time to get a working system as some computers don't function properly. We PG students use the library only to have access to newspapers, but it is a peaceful environment. The librarian is extremely professional and friendly at the same time. She is extremely punctual and opens the library ten minutes before time.
Faculty: The faculty here is amazing. We students always have a helping hand from the faculty, especially from Erica. She is always punctual when it comes to her work. Talking about the teachers here, they are also working professionals in the field. If we have a lecture on live reporting, the person teaching us is a practicing live reporter. In the same way, we have working professionals who teach us. This gives us updates about the changes that have been happening in the industry. Our course is strictly based on practical work and assignments, so it does make us industry-ready.
Other: I come from a finance background but chose to do journalism as I was passionate about it. This college is also focusing more on the practical part, which ensures that people like me get hands-on experience through our assignments. This college is environmentally friendly and has a peaceful aura.

It provides good placements and excellent faculty members.
Placements: This college helped me land a job at Times Network, India's leading news brand. It had very good industry connections and makes students hit the ground from the very beginning. I did my first reporting assignment on day 2. I would recommend students to take admission in it.
Infrastructure: It provides state-of-the-art facilities and it always tries to keep adding to the existing infrastructure. It provides a broadcast studio, an audio recording studio, an editing laboratory with Mac systems, a library, and a lounge to relax.
Faculty: Faculty members were friendly and their top bosses were very accessible. The course does not have exams, but regularly assesses students through essays and fieldwork. These include pitching stories, covering them for print and broadcast, and curating content.

This college guides me to pursue my passion as a journalist.
Placements: Around 25-30 students in one batch were placed. It had top companies for our internship like Times of India, CNN, Network 18, Zee News, India Today, Zoom, Times Internet, Times Now, Mirror Now, etc. All students were guided and helped in getting the internships at top companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities were good, it provides the best computer laboratories with the latest computers to work on which were installed with good software like Adobe Premiere Pro, FCP, Photoshop, InDesign. It had our own in-house studio with a green room and also recording studios which I do not think a lot of colleges offer. It helped students in grooming and getting industry-ready.
Faculty: Teachers were the best and most qualified teachers who guide students throughout the course. Special mention to Carol ma'am for guiding students whenever we struggled with anything. The course curriculum was relevant and help students get industry-ready. Students get hands-on experience.

I liked the college experience with great teachers and infrastructure. The college location is good.
Placements: Recruitment opportunities are great. I interned at JWT after passing out, and I got hands-on live project experience which gave me a practical idea of how to go about things.
Infrastructure: I stayed in the hostel for the entire PGDM program. Accessibility and safety were top-notch. There is Coffee by D Bella and a bookstore below our hostel. We hardly left the campus for anything. Tiffin's services provided are great.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. We were well-involved in live projects and add-making practical classes to know how the industry works. From studio recordings to shooting ads, I liked the whole experience with understanding faculty members. Staff members are very helpful, and they are available to help us around the clock. They give fun and interesting projects to work on.
Other: Our college is located in the main part of Bandra! It has access to most of the go-to places.

Our campus is beautiful and professors are very helpful.
Placements: Internships are offered at this college. Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. Faculty members also help us during placements. The average salary package offered was 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college is very beautiful with various technical rooms. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and proper seating arrangements are available. There is a hall for various activities and celebrations that accommodate 200 students. There is a decent library in this college. The canteen is well-maintained.
Other: All events, such as Christmas, Diwali, freshers' party, farewell, etc., are organised. The student council member, Riva Sugandhi, is very polite.

Q:   Can I get St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education PG Diploma with 65 percentile in CAT?
A:

The admission process for the PG Diploma programs at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education is separate from CAT (Common Admission Test) scores. While a high CAT score may help in securing admission to postgraduate management programs, it is not a criterion for admission to the PG Diploma programs at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education.

As per the information available on the institute's website, the selection process for PG Diploma programs involves an entrance exam, followed by a personal interview. The minimum percentile required for the entrance exam may vary from year to year and is announced by the institute along with the application form. Candidates are advised to check the official website or contact the institute directly for updated information on admission requirements and procedures.

Therefore, while a high CAT score may help in securing admission to other postgraduate programs, it does not guarantee admission to the PG Diploma programs at St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education. A:

The requirements for admission to academic institutions, such as St. Paul's Institute of Communication Education, frequently encompass more than just academic performance. Even though a 70% grade in class 12 is an impressive accomplishment, it's important to remember that admissions officers may also take other factors into account, like extracurricular activities, entrance exams, and interviews.A comprehensive admissions process may be valued by St. Paul's Institute of Communication Education, which would value applicants with a broad skill set and a strong interest in communication. Consequently, your chances could be improved by submitting a strong application that highlights your academic prowess as well as relevant experiences, accomplishments, and a love of communication.Emphasising any high school projects, internships, or events you participated in that involved communication could improve your application. Furthermore, showcasing proficient written and verbal communication abilities could potentially enhance the admissions committee's impression. It is advisable to carefully examine the admission requirements specific to the institute and modify your application as necessary. A strong personal statement that highlights your objectives, your passion for communication, and how the institute fits with your dreams could be a useful addition to your application. In summary, a 70% score is a good starting point, but it will probably not guarantee a successful admissions process at St. Paul's Institute of Communication Education if you pair it with a thorough application that highlights your overall skills and dedication to communication.
