Students review of St Xavier's Arts and Science College.
Placements: The college doesn't offer direct placement or internship. They however have a career orientation programme by the concerned department. The college often ties up with the Kerala State Government and other private organisations and holds place drives and walk-in interviews. Companies such as HDFC, ICICI, etc. Top roles include sales executive, HR intern, and auditing intern.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes a gym, games room, conference hall, comment hall, canteen, football ground, basketball court, seating areas, tennis court, bike parking facilities, drinking water facilities, library facilities, and stationery. Hostel facilities are limited.
Faculty: Our faculty members are casual and friendly. They are below average, especially in behavior. The latest batch has an updated curriculum under FYUGP. Semester exams are conducted by the university of Calicut. The internal exams are conducted by the concerned department.
Other: Genderly satisfied. The fee is low comparatively to other colleges. Lack of events organised by colleges. Students have to organize them.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Good atmosphere.
Placements: It is a self-financed college. You can take admission here either through management or merit-based quotas. I don't know about placement because I study sociology, and we don't have placements. But placements are provided for courses like BCA. All the staff and teachers in our college are well-qualified.
Infrastructure: All the teachers in our department are well-qualified. Our HOD has a Ph.D. The food in our college canteen is very clean and healthy. Hostels and PGs are available near our college. There is a hospital next to the college. Kabaddi is taught in our college. We have won many prizes.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are well-qualified and very friendly. Their teaching style is also very friendly. Yes, it will make the students industry-ready. Exams are conducted strictly. The exam questions are such that you can get good marks if you study. The teachers' way of teaching helps you to understand a subject quickly and get interested in it. They teach every topic with many examples, which is very useful for understanding.
Other: I like to study sociology very much. Generally, sociology is offered less in government colleges, so that's why I chose this college. Sociology helps us understand society in a scientific way. All the events and fests held in the college are cool. The atmosphere in the college is very good. The plants and trees in the college give a special beauty to it.

I am impressed with this college and teachers. Everything is maintained properly except the hostels.
Placements: Placements are good; the placement percentage is around 60 to 70%. The college also supports students in placements. There is a separate team that works for placements and invites top companies from India and foreign countries. Lots of the students selected for top companies last year. I also got an internship from a top company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome; classrooms are so spacious, and everything is maintained properly. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There is also a mess available; the foods are not so good but so bad that they are just okay. All sports facilities are available; overall, this college is value for money.
Faculty: The best part of this college is the study and faculty members. Teachers are very helpful and talented. They are from top universities and well-educated. The exam pattern is not so hard. The curriculum is updated. It makes industry-ready students. Semester exams are just average. You do not have to study very seriously. If you have completed your syllabus, you can score good marks in the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in business.

I am absolutely happy with the college, and the infrastructure and canteen can be improved.
Placements: Internship programs are very few. Students have to go to different companies searching for jobs and internships. Teachers are trying to bring companies to the college, which is a good thing and helps students from 1st and 2nd years.
Infrastructure: The canteen should be developed and have a good menu. The food is delicious. The seating area can be improved so that more students can sit there.
Faculty: Our teachers are on point in completing the syllabus within the time. They are supportive of students who are good and obey them. Seminars and assignments are conducted every semester for students to gain good knowledge of those topics.

Review of St. Xavier's Arts and Science College, Calicut.
Placements: Placements in our college are below-average. You can go for MCA after BCA which is equivalent to B.Tech. It will help you land in a good position. I would recommend taking up any high demand skill and work on it which will be really helpful.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad. We have a really good ambience with greenary, giving importance to nature. The college has a really good physical trainer and supports many kinds of sports like boxing, kabaddi, rugby and much more. The canteen food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and really good at their jobs. They help us whenever we are in need. We need to work hard. Semester exams can be easily cleared if one listens to the classes properly.
Other: I chose BCA because I am interested in coding. Our college offers various programs like Friday Market, department-wise programs, election, arts day and much more events.

It is the good college I have ever seen.
Placements: Around 85% of students in our batch get placed through campus placements. The highest package is 12 LPA (offered by a multinational consulting firm). The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Commerce sector firms.
Infrastructure: The BBA department has smart classrooms with projectors, whiteboards, and proper ventilation. Most rooms are with audio-visual aids for presentations and guest lectures. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the academic buildings and the library. It is generally reliable for research, online classes, and assignments.
Faculty: Most teachers in the BBA department are well-qualified, with many holding PhDs, MBAs, or UGC NET certification. Some faculty members also have industry experience, especially in marketing, finance, and HR. Teachers are generally approachable and supportive, especially during project submissions and internships.
Other: I chose Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) because I am always interested in business, leadership, marketing, and entrepreneurship. I want a course that gives me a strong foundation in management while keeping my career options open, whether for an MBA, starting my own business, or joining the corporate sector. The BBA program offers a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, such as communication, team collaboration, and critical thinking. It also exposes me early on to case studies, presentations, and real-world business problems.
