Overall, it is the best college for the MCA course.
Placements: In my study, around 71% of students get placed. The highest offer is roughly 19 LPA, while the lowest is about 6 LPA. Aquent, Razoroo, Edison & Black, and other top companies provide career opportunities. Top careers include Mobile App Developer and System Analyst. Around 65% of students receive work prospects.
Infrastructure: On campus, Wi-Fi is provided, although it might not function in some areas. There are two hostels for males. One is in poor condition, and the other is an old PG hostel. The PG hostel has top-notch features and is of the highest quality. The food has no value. Medical centers are available in the college at specific times. Two boys’ mess facilities are available. Sports and games are also provided within the campus.
Faculty: Every teacher is competent and knowledgeable. It is up to us to determine how we will gain from it. We learn through YouTube. The curriculum is old and should be improved. We obtain most of our knowledge through student organizations. The semester tests are relatively difficult, and the pass rate exceeds 60%.

Overall, it is the best college for the MCA course.
Placements: About 93% of the people in my class are placed. The highest package offered is 31 LPA, the lowest is 7 LPA, and the average for 2023-24 is 19 LPA. Top recruiting companies include software giants like Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, etc. However, 85% of the students offered internships in various industries. The top-level roles are Data Scientist, Developer, and so on.
Infrastructure: We maintain our library in top shape. The library has a reading area where students can study. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available in every guest room and lodging. You can consume the mess, It serves different meals depending on the day of the week. They are kept clean. There is a student health center that distributes free prescription drugs. Our college has three distinct lots. Three gyms are exclusively for women.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, but you can’t completely rely on them for your studies. You have to work on your own to pass the exam, especially since the MCA exam is difficult. To pass, a minimum of 37 points per subject is required. Moreover, the Computer Science curriculum is completely irrelevant to the current market.

My review of this college.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college through which students can apply for jobs. Placements are 100% for the MCA students as St.Xavier's College is one of the best institutions in the country. Many good companies approach here to get the best among the best students for their organisation. Placements are good. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Nomura, Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Capgemini, E&Y, Wipro Technologies, Google Online Services, etc., have approached here. 70% of students got final placements. The average package ranges between 2.5-3 LPA to 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. There are different types of room accommodation like 3-sharing, 2-sharing, and single. The hostel provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner at an affordable price. Food quality is also very good. But one drawback is hostel and college are a little far, and it is around 2 KM.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are unmatched in terms of excellence and teaching skills. Professors are all PhD holders, and quite a few of them have degrees from abroad. Each professor is a pro in their area of expertise, offering brilliant lectures that make the subject easy to understand and interesting as well. The exam structure is simple. Each semester has 5 subjects plus two lab practical subjects. At the time of the practical exam, external examiners are appointed. Exams consist of an internal examination of 20 marks, a final semester exam of 70 marks, and 10 marks for assignments. The course curriculum is really good, and it is designed in such a way that students are well prepared to work in a corporate environment. The only downside is syllabus is quite hectic. Students are given all sorts of training, and they are also provided all the resources.

Overall best College for MCA Course.
Placements: St Xavier's College has a very good placement record. Almost 83% of them were placed. While the highest installation is 45 LPA and the average is around 15 LPA. I personally got placed at 26 LPA. Companies like Walmart, Toyota, Ryder System, and more visited the campus. While a lot of students got internships in many companies. The top jobs offered are Logistics Manager, Operations Manager, and more.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good but not the best, and overall the campus facilities are the best on campus for the location, and the greenery around the hostels and buildings is excellent. Hotels are not in as good shape as those built in the late 1980s or nearby years. But the library is good, and everything about learning is good.
Faculty: Teachers don’t help that much. Looking after yourself is good to stay here. Teaching quality is also not that good, but it doesn’t matter. Simple learning and intelligent learning strategies are also used for teaching. All teachers have a way of teaching. Since most of the faculty are South Indian, their accent doesn’t make sense sometimes. Semester exams are easy. The pass rate is 92%.

Placements: Coming to the placements part of our batch, 96% were placed and our seniors also have a good placement record. The highest package offered was 27 LPA with the lowest being 7 LPA. This college gives the best ROI. Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Jabong etc., companies have visited the college for placements. Roles like Business Analyst, Software Engineer etc., were offered. About 93% of students receive internships.
Infrastructure: It is the third largest community college in India. There are good facilities for Wi-Fi, labs, library, health centre. Many games and competitions are organized in this college. Labs and classrooms are well organized. Refreshments are available in the restaurant. The minimum debt is Rs. 500 in a month. The hostels are provided with comfortable rooms. I didn’t see any issues with infrastructure.
Faculty: All faculty members of this college are highly qualified with academic and industry experience and the teaching style ranges from traditional to modern approaches to business schools. Teachers focus on both theoretical and practical knowledge and shape a student to become a full-fledged caregiver. The semester exams are not too difficult and the pass rate is 90%.

My review of this college.
Placements: There is also a very good placement cell which provides good opportunities to learn and provides final-year students to sit in for interviews. A variety of firms come for placements and recruitment. The college has a separate campus placement program for interested students. A lot of high-end companies come to this college for placements. All major companies from FMCG, media, supply chain, IT, etc., come for campus recruitment. Some of the key recruiters are Google, EY, Deloitte, DE Shaw, L&T, and Techmark. The salary package offered in placements ranges from 3-15 LPA. The highest salary offered is 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are constructed on a separate block and have all the basic facilities like clean washrooms, a hygienic environment, rooms equipped with a bed, study table, AC or cooler, and a cupboard. The infrastructure is nice with a beautiful garden and playgrounds. The mess and canteen have delicious and healthy food. There is strict surveillance on studies. Canteen food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very experienced. They have immense knowledge of subjects they teach. Queries of students are properly answered. Teachers are very polite to students. The teaching and learning process becomes wonderful. They mixed theory with practical examples very well and also facilitated some nice ones. There are 4 semesters over a period of 2 years, with 6 months each. Semester exams take place in April-May and November-December. Each subject is of 50 marks, of which 40 is of the semester, which is cut down from a 50-mark paper. The course structure is very good. It has a semester system, which is very good for a degree college. Students can get help from professors whenever they want. The course offers many subjects like C, C++, Java, Advanced Java, etc.
