A review of NMIMS - CIS, Mumbai.

Placements: The recruitment takes place in the optional fourth year, which is in London. At the end of the third year, also in London. So, it is up to students whether they want to work or not. Career fairs are organized at Kingston University, London, for hiring purposes.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and labs can be improved. There are network issues, but the college provides Wi-Fi. NMIMS Mumbai campus does not have its own hostel due to area issues. They provide a form for the hostel, as they have it on a contract basis. Mostly, you have to book your private hostel.

Faculty: Faculty is really nice and extremely helpful. Assignments are easy to understand and score well on. The curriculum is also good, if you study with focus, you can understand it very well. Exams are not traditional pen-and-paper-based. Of course, there are pen-and-paper exams as well, but they focus more on presentations and the applicability of concepts.

One of the best courses for international business management that provides global exposure.

Placements: You get access to key certification with the course and you can apply for part time or summer internships in the first and second year. In the third year, you have access of a placement cell of Kingston University which helps you build your CV and apply for internships or full time job in the 4th year.

Infrastructure: Our college has facilities like access to the library, Bloomberg lab, computer center, Wi-Fi, classrooms, and other basic amenities. Multiple canteens are available, with the best quality food and beverages and various options. Medical facilities are available on campus for emergencies. Students have access to exclusive certification with the curriculum.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified for each module and have years of experience in the field. Course curriculum is practical based and focuses on practical knowledge rather than theory with assignments and activities tailored for it. With educational industrial trips, it gives a great exposure to all students and train them for on field opportunities in future.

One of the best College to study business.

Placements: About 10% were placed in my course. The highest and the lowest and the average package is not disclosed. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, and some of the top firms of London. About everyone secured an internship from my course from companies. Roles in HR and in Top Management roles were offered in my course.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided such as library and Wi-Fi and classrooms are indeed big but the classes take place in a totally different building. The quality of all the infrastructure is more than average. The food in the canteen is nice but be selective of what you have. Other than that all other amenities are top notch.

Faculty: There are industry experts who have quite long corporate experience to share the practicality of today's needs and standards. The course is comprehensive and the pass percentage is quite high compared to other courses. More than the exams they focus more on the practical aspect of the subject.

Other: I chose this course because this provides an amazing opportunity to study abroad as well as in India. This is a dual degree programme which allows students to earn 2 degrees at the same time. The classes could be more comprehensive other wise everything else is good. Events such as ZION and some other conducted by the clubs are quite enjoyable.

I am satisfied with the course and our faculty members.

Placements: Most of the students from the batch got Ajmer internships at companies within Mumbai. Both working from home and going to office-type jobs were provided for convenience. About 80% of the students from the batch got summer internships. Since the course hasn't been completed, the students haven't applied for placements.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and have smart boards for easier and more convenient use. All classrooms have Wi-Fi. This makes studying easier. There is also a computer lab with more than 40 computers for students to get technological help at the college.

Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable about the course and its curriculum. They are all very helpful with studies and extracurricular activities outside of studies. The course curriculum is well planned and executed by the faculty. The curriculum is relevant and the expected outcome of the course is as perceived by students.

I had an outstanding boarding experience.

Placements: 50% of students got internships. Top recruiting companies are Zen, Universal Tribes, Yodacart, DSPR, Nirvana Realty, Quinn Hygiene, Quidich etc. The highest package offered for internships was 12,000. 50% of students got placed in this course. Roles offered are in marketing, finance, HR and digital marketing.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure provided by the college are Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, and hostel. The quality of facilities provided is very good. You can access 2 libraries, one from Mithibai College and the other from NMIMS glass building. Canteen food is delicious. There are many options in food, and you can have whatever you want.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. This course makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40% in each module. Semester exams are not much difficult. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that students get something from it.
