Experience at Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning.
Placements: Hi! I have recently finished my two-year Masters at Symbiosis. I was pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, majored in Marketing and Communication. (Batch: 2017-19) It had a decent percentage of enrollments in the said course above, almost in every branch of the course. The most popular branches are marketing and finance but again, it completely depends on what you're going to pursue ahead and which stream will be the most beneficial to you. Since this is a distance programme, this is specifically tailored for working professionals who want to enhance their skills and qualifications for better opportunities. This programme is also beneficial if you opt-out a regular degree to gain professional experience first and alongside, continue with your studies. SCDL offers a very flexible study and exam schedule so anyone can easily learn whenever suitable to them and also prepare for exams at their own pace. You are not time-bound at all. If I tell you with my personal experience, this provision has both pros and cons. On one hand, it makes very convenient for working professionals like me to balance between hectic working schedules and learning and preparing for exams together, but on the other hand, without a strict deadline, any individual might just procrastinate too much to keep skipping their semester exams and piling up work for later on. Moving on, SCDL doesn't have a fixed placement cell but it offers a job fair once in a year in Pune. Although, it's a reputed institution offering many Diploma/degree/online courses as per one's needs which are accepted in almost all the companies. If you are still unsure, confirm with your employer before joining. I am working in media and entertainment industry and recently got promoted upon completion of this course so it has been beneficial to me.
Infrastructure: SCDL offers distance learning programs so there is no physical classroom. They offer online classes on your personal login id which are archived later on so you can use them at any time later on. SCDL also offers a grace period so, for instance, if your course if two years long, you'll get an additional two years to finish the course. Your personal login ID will is your access to everything at SCDL. You can talk (through email) to the lecturers and they are resolved within 1-2 working days. You can have access to the library and online study material at any time. The quality of classes and faculty is okay. Not too bad, not too good. I liked some professors very well and the others didn't get along to my personal learning style.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are good, and well-spoken. They are knowledgeable and also solves the query online during live session. Like in any institution, I liked the faculty and quality of teaching with some professors better than others that may vary from individual to individual. 2. Yes, it is helpful for good learning but I'll suggest you to only opt it when you're having a professional experience alongside. It boosts your skillset and CV for better opportunities.
Other: 1. I have been working for 3+ years and this course helped me to boost my skills and also opened doors to better opportunities. But, personally, I am not only dependent on it and going for double Masters. 2. I would prefer some hand-on training more, a better network server from SCDL and update their some regularly 3. Since it's an online distance programme, you don't get to experience extra activities.

Other: Great Learning Skill, High value of degree. Most of the corporate company recommend this college for his standard of degree. I recommend every student to join this college as for better future and for better studies.
