SIBM Pune Cutoff 2024: Check Previous Year SNAP Cutoff

As per the SIBM Pune eligibility criteria and selection process for MBA admission, CAT exam scores are not accepted by SIBM Pune for MBA admissions. It is mandatory for students who are seeking admission in MBA at SIBM Pune must appear for SNAP exam and score 98.5 percentile.

Further, candidates who meet the SNAP 2023 cut off are considered for Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI) round of MBA admission 2024-25 batch. 

The registrations for the 2025-27 EMBA batch of SIBM Pune commenced from Oct 15. Candidates can visit the institute's official website to register and apply. The registrations for the executive programme closes when the seats are filled. Moreover, the results are communicated through email. As per the official webiste, the course will commence from Jan 18, 2025.

There are a total of 60 seats for Executive MBA course of SIBM Pune. Candidates are admitted to the programme based on fulfilment of eligibility criteria and performance in the interview round. The seat allotment is done as per the sanctioned seat intake. Moreover, the institute may reserve seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. A relaxation in minimum aggregate is given to course applicants of 5%. 

Candidates seeking admission to Executive MBA programme of SIBM Pune must meet the eligibility requirements. The aspirants must hold the relevant documents as well. SIBM Pune EMBA eligibility criteria is further as follows:

• A valid bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST).
• Graduates through distance education are accepted, however, it must be approved/recognised by UGC/AICTE.
• Applicants must have at least one year of work experience (as on Dec 31, 2024) after graduation.

There are a total of 282 seats for the MBA/PGDM programmes. The seat intake vary from one specialisation to another. Mentioned below is the specialisation-wise seat count:

The modes of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of various entrance tests. Candidates applying for a full-time MBA course have to register for the SNAP exam. The first step in the application process is to visit the official website and then click on Apply Now tab. Select the course and pay the application fee. Submit the application form. The documents required are Class 12 and Class 10 mark sheets, Transfer certificates, Character certificates, and others.

Candidates shortlisted based one exam score have to participate in the interview round, group exercise, and written ability test. The final selection is based on the candidates overall performance in the selection rounds.

The SNAP 2023 application started on August 23 and ended on November 23, 2023.. The SNAP 2023 exam dates were December 10, 17 and 22, 2023. The SNAP 2023 admit card for the first attempt released on December 4 and for the second and third test it released on December 9. The SNAP 2023 result was announced on January 10, 2024.

The SNAP 2024 application began on August 5, 2024 and the form submission window closed on November 22, 2024. The SNAP 2024 exam dates were December 8, 15 and 21, 2024. Candidates had the option to register for one, two or three attempts as per their choice. Best score of all attempts was taken into consideration for PI shortlisting. The SNAP 2024 admit card for every session was released separately. For the first session, the hall ticket was released on December 2, for the second attempt, it was released on December 9 and for third attempt, it was released on December 15, 2024.

For admission to MBA at SIBM Pune, students must have passed Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) followed by appearing for SNAP followed  by GE-PI-WAT.

The SIBM Pune does consider previous academic records to a limited extent. To be eligible for admission to SIBM, you must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in your previous academic course. However, your SNAP entrance test score will be more important for your admission. The SNAP entrance test is conducted for admission to SIBM. If you scored a high percentile in this entrance test, you will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the SNAP, and Group Exercise scores. In this, the SNAP scores have a maximum weight of around 50 percent. If you performed well in this selection round, your previous academic records will not impact much on your admission.
