Good faculty, good infrastructure, and surrounding but no placements.
Placements: There is no such thing as placement in this college. There might be some changes in BCA courses but there are no direct placement options available for Science students. No companies visit to offer jobs or internship programs for students. Most of the students look out for third-party sources for jobs or start preparing for government jobs.
Infrastructure: It has different buildings for arts and Science and it has one of the biggest and the oldest libraries in Jharkhand. Wi-Fi is available for all. Classrooms are also quite big and filled with the latest technology. There are CCTV cameras everywhere. Hostel facilities were also above average. There are all types of sports such as basketball, badminton, football and cricket player. They also conduct inter-college or inter-hostel sports competitions. Canteen and mess facilities provide two times food, day and night and you have to carry extra food (snacks) for yourself.
Faculty: The facility is one of the best in the whole Jharkhand, highly knowledgeable, and qualified. They are very friendly and helpful. Teaching quality is above the ratings ( more than 5 stars). All the syllabus of the courses offered is focused on the future relevance of that course. Although it may not be as good as some DU colleges it gets the job done by giving you the required knowledge.
Other: I choose this course because I am interested in higher studies with mathematics as my main subject. Best things about B.Sc. mathematicians will be it introduces you to the world of mathematics at the same time it doesn't pressurize you with the burden of hard-core stuff of mathematics. It's quite fun to learn about new areas and branches of mathematics. More focus on practical aspects of the theoretical knowledge may improve the course and provide a better understanding. All the major events such as Saraswati Puja, freshers, farewell, and all sorts of events are regularly organized. The campus is filled with trees and it's all green everywhere so the surrounding is quite fresh. All sorts of extracurricular activities such as dance, music, arts, etc. Are organized on regular basis. Fees are very less and very affordable. The best thing is if you are a St, SC, or OBC student, you will get the whole of your expenses returned as a scholarship.
