Review of Techno India, Hooghly.
Placements: Every student at the college gets an opportunity to sit for placements, ensuring equal chances for all. Securing an offer letter completely depends on the individual's skill, preparation, and performance during interviews. The placement drive attracts several top companies such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon, EY, BT, and Deloitte. These reputed organizations provide students with good career opportunities and exposure, making the placement process a strong aspect of the college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is disappointing. There is no hostel, which makes it difficult for outstation students. Canteen food is below average in both quality and hygiene, so it cannot be relied on regularly. Campus is very small, with no proper open space or ground for students. The worst of all, there is no main gate. Entering feels more like walking into a house than a college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are quite good and supportive. Most teachers are knowledgeable and approachable, and they put effort into explaining concepts clearly. They guide students well and are always ready to help. Exams are conducted under MAKAUT guidelines, which ensure proper structure, fairness, and transparency. The evaluation process is reliable. The question papers are set as per the university standards. Overall, both the teaching quality and examination system are satisfactory.

Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed in this course. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is around 3 LPA, with the average is around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree, etc. 75% of students get internships from our course, and companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. The top roles are in finance, software development, banking, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too good, and every student gets a seat. Classrooms are big in size and also clean. Wi-Fi facility is available, but sometimes it often slow. The library provides us books every semester. Hostels are available, and we have a canteen. Sports and games are organized every year. We have both types of sports and games indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. Teachers help us complete our assignments. It doesn't really make students industry-ready. Exams are often tough, but it actually depends on subjects. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I love computer-related activities and subjects. The best thing about my course is that it is all about computer science. There is nothing to improve. Events occur many times, and the fest occurs once every year for 2 days. The campus crowd and surroundings are too good. Everyone attends college almost every day. There are many extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, drama, etc.
