Good university for BBA students, with supportive faculty and decent campus facilities.
Placements: I am a BBA student of the recent batch. Placement opportunities in our course are moderate. Around 40 to 50 percent of students get placed through the campus placement. The highest package is around 17 LPA, and the lowest package is around 10 LPA. Around 60 to 70 percent of students got internships during my course.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure for students. Classrooms are neat and clean. The campus is well-maintained. It has Wi-Fi, a computer lab, and a library with many academic books and study materials for BBA students. The campus has grounds for football, volleyball, hockey, badminton, table tennis, tennis, basketball, etc. It also has a swimming pool.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many teachers explain topics clearly and support students with assignments and projects. The BBA course curriculum covers important subjects like marketing, finance, and business communication, which help students understand the business environment.
Other: I chose the BBA course because I am interested in business management and marketing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really amazing. Our new hostel was just like a five-star hotel. The food was amazing. Many food options are available there. Games facilities are top-notch. Medical facilities are given on time to patients. The night canteen option was also there.
Faculty: Teachers were really qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum of the course was relatable and helpful in daily life activities. Semester exams were quite easy. The pass percentage for my course was 100%. MST and EST are conducted here. Quizzes and PowerPoints are helpful.
Other: The interest in the physics subject made me choose this course. The best thing about my course was the helpful staff members.

I am amazed by infrastructure and facilities provided by Thapar, and I think it is value for money.
Placements: There are really good faculty members for M.Sc. Chemistry course. Above 70% of students got placed. Companies like BYJU's, Akash, etc., come here to offer educational posts. They offered a package of 5-6 lacs per annum. Almost all the students got internships in different academic and industrial areas.
Infrastructure: We are provided with great facilities in Thapar, like unlimited free Wi-Fi, a big library with lots of books, AC classrooms etc. The infrastructure is awesome. Hostels are very hygienic and provide very good quality food. Sports and medical facilities are very good.

It has good infrastructure, but I am disappointed with the teaching skills of teachers.
Placements: About 2-3 students from each course of masters get placed every year. About 70% or above students got placed from B.Tech courses. The maximum salary package offered for master students is 8 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered for B.Tech students is 43 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. For my course, companies like Infosys, Aakash Institute and Lakshya visited our campus to recruit students. Our course also includes research work for 6-8 months with maximum credits.
Infrastructure: The college provides all the facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a very beautiful library. The library is available, but funds for research work are not provided up to a satisfactory level. Hostels were very well-maintained. Food served in our hostel is hygienic, but in other hostels, food served was quite less hygienic. All other facilities like canteen, medical, and sports are available. Cultural events organised by the college are literally amazing.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified, but some of them were less experienced. They were not able to reach us through their teaching skills. The course curriculum made us confident and skilful, and it made students industry-ready.
Other: Research work in my course made it interesting. Funds for research work and a longer time period should be provided. Events are organised in our college.

I am totally satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure and all the facilities provided here.
Placements: The college doesn't provide placements for M.Sc. in physics students. Placements are quite good for engineering students. Most of the students get placed. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA. However, the college helps M.Sc. students regarding internships, but the stipend is not offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome. We are provided with every facility here like Wi-Fi, library, medical, etc. Events are held regularly here. There are many extracurricular activities, like swimming, sketching, sports, etc., conducted here. The quality of the food served is good here. I have no issues regarding the infrastructure. But hostel rooms are not that spacious.
Faculty: Faculty members of Thapar University are very helpful, well qualified, and knowledgeable. They are always ready to take doubts and give their time to each student. They use presentations also to teach so that students can learn better. But we don't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful.
