GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Yes, the university offers a BCA course of three-year in a full-time mode. BCA and BCA (Hons) are offered by the university under the five-year integrated course in Computer Science. The UG course is also offered as an online course. Admission to these programmes is based on the entrance test conducted by the university. Many of the GNDU-affiliated colleges also offer this UG programme. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for this course can take the entrance exam.

Yes, Guru Nanak Dev University's BCom admissions are entrance-based. Admission to all the courses offered at the university is based on a departmental-level entrance exam conducted by  the Head of the (respective) Department offering the programme. GNDU. To appear for this exam, candidates must fill out an application form on the official website of the university. Based on the performance in this exam, a merit list is prepared. The applicants who manage to get shortlisted are allotted seats, provided they present the require documents supporting their eligibillity.

Admission to the course is offered based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by the university.
