Review of Uma Charan Patnaik Engineering School.
Placements: About 70% of students in our course got placed. I was in the electronic and telecommunications engineering department. The highest salary offered was Rs.55,000 per month and the lowest salary package offered was Rs.25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were Samsung, Medha Servo, Siemens, Hero, and Volts. Top roles offered were senior engineer and field engineer.
Infrastructure: Every department had its separate building with its computer labs. There was only one common library in it. The quality and quantity of food served were very good. They also served non-vegetarian meals. There was a playground for students with various sports.
Faculty: Our faculty members were good with teaching skills. Their practical knowledge was very good. They were very helpful to students. Diploma engineering was a very relevant course for students who wanted to know about technology and engineering. The board conducted semester exams every six months and you had to score a minimum of 55% to qualify for the next semester.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it.

This college is for those students who want to make their career in the engineering platform.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed. It is a government college so, the minimum salary offered was Rs 7,000 per month. Jindal and many more private companies visit to hire students. Most students got internships in Jindal and JK paper meal. The top role for freshers was a machine operator. Much more students got placements in MNCs like Hitachi and Payment service.
Infrastructure: Hostels were good in this college. The food served was also good. The environment was clean. The roommates were cooperative, and there were no medical facilities for minor cases. All types of sports with a large playground were provided. Hostel staffs were also good, and this college staffs were always ready for help students in any situation.
Faculty: Teachers were friendly, even they were taking an extra doubt class to clear. The teaching quality was most experienced. It makes the students industry-ready. There was no cheating allowed in our college so students had to hard work to make their life better. The pass percentage was 30%.
Other: I want to be a telecommunication engineer and I love electronics stuff. Events were going on always, scholarships were for specified cast and handicap. This college conducts a yearly fest, study tours including yoga, and sports.
