It is an excellent college for studies, but the infrastructure is not as good as private colleges.
Placements: 40% of students are placed, with the highest package offered being 6 LPA and the lowest being 2.5 LPA. Recruiters are healthcare companies and medical equipment manufacturing companies. The top roles offered are trainee executive and assistant engineer, and the placement training is provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old, as it is one of the oldest engineering colleges in our state and not as fancy as other private colleges. Classrooms are equipped with digital boards, and Wi-Fi is provided for free to the students. The canteen food and mess food are below average.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, and very experienced professionals are there. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready, so they need to learn extra skills through internships. The semester exams are easy to moderate and not very difficult, and the pass percentage is about 40% in every subject.
Other: I personally like this course, and the tuition fee is very low.

You can experience what life is, overall it is good.
Placements: Every year about 66 students will get into our course but this year our class strength is 83. The highest package in our college is about 52 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA I guess. Top recruitment is done by Infosys and Google. Top roles offered in our college are obviously software-related for my course. But I think only CSE is better than other branches to get studied in our college. I don't think other branches are that good in our college I mean according to faculty members. The main thing is that Osmania is a very old college.
Infrastructure: Osmania University is a very old university so its infrastructure is good but not modern. But the facilities here are good. Food provided in the hostel is average, not so good, nor bad. In canteen, we get good food. Sports and games are really great here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are good. You can ask them about doubts anytime. They teach well. Semester question papers are a bit hard and even the evaluation. Pass percentage is 40%. The main thing is the type of feeling you get when you see our main block because it is a very old construction and still it is so strong. Overall, it is very good.
Other: I dream of becoming a software engineer and I really think Osmania will make me reach my goal. Its name itself will add some points to my resume I guess. So I joined here. But the problem is that you find people everywhere. You can't find a place peaceful other than the library. You find people everywhere. Everything here is good except for that. You can have lots of fun.

"I am very satisfied with coming to this college."

The college recruits Microsoft and other companies for placements, and the college has an average CGPA of 9.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good, providing free Wi-Fi for students on the campus, and it has free access to the library up to 9 PM, which is good for study reference. The classrooms and labs are good, with all the necessary equipment. Digital classrooms are present in this university.
Faculty: The faculty of this university is highly qualified in teaching and very much experienced. They are available to clarify doubts at any time on the campus. They explain things in a different way and guide us properly, which helps us understand better.
Other: There is only one event that was conducted, which is the college fest, aimed at encouraging students’ extracurricular activities and providing extra knowledge in various aspects, including projects.

Not fully satisfied with my college, but a little effort will make a difference in getting placement
Placements: Actually, in my college, all groups got placements, but not 100% placements. In the Mechanical department, more than 63 students got selected out of 70, some not going through placements. Many companies are coming to the college for CSE and AIML, especially, but only a few people got selected because our faculty is not that good. Coming to EEE, the highest package last year was 17.3 LPA. Some companies are particular about CGPA being more than 8 and having no supply and backlog, like L&T. The remaining companies are not looking at CGPA, but core knowledge must be strong. Civil had fewer members placed compared to other departments, with the highest package being only 6.5. Mining also got placements this year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good; all departments have their own buildings. The civil department is very good compared to all. The boys' hostel for first and fourth years is good, but the second and third-year boys' hostel is the worst. The food is also not good, and the girls' hostel has only one building for all years, with 8 members in each room. The food is sometimes tasty, sometimes bad; overall, the girls' hostel is better. If any medical emergency happens, our hostel warden will react immediately and send an ambulance. Wi-Fi is also provided by the college.
Faculty: Some faculty are well knowledgeable, while some are not. Even though we frequently bunk college because of events, seminars, and programs, every year we celebrate fests (technical symposium) and an open mic event conducted by the music team (EMC Square), along with traditional days, game sessions, and Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations. Coming to semester exams, we study one night before the exam, so many people have a low CGPA because the correction is also tough.
Other: Actually, I would not have chosen this course as per my rank; I got this without seeing the group but for the college brand. Now I am regretting because I am not interested in studying electrical. I will suggest that you choose a group you like or are interested in. Don't go for a brand college first. For pass students, the college fee is 35,000 every year; those who will not get placed will also pay the college fee, and everyone will pay for the mess. Every semester, we will pay nearly 6,000.
