University College of Medical Sciences, popularly known as UCMS was established in 1971 in Delhi. UCMS is accredited by NAAC and recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). University College of Medical Sciences is affiliated with Delhi University (DU). The university offers various Medical and Paramedical courses at UG and PG levels.

If you belong to the General AI quota and are aiming for admission to the MD and MS courses, you must target a cutoff rank of up to 107819 and lower to get a seat at the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi. The answer will be both yes and no. Getting into UCMS Delhi without NEET is possible since AIIMS Delhi offers courses apart from MBBS, such as BSc, MSc. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam. However, if the ultimate objective is to crack UCMS Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. If the ranking and score obtained in the exam match with the minimum requirement of the institution, the student will get admission here for MBBS, otherwise not. 

No, you can't join University College of Medical Sciences without NEET. However, for BSc and MSc courses NEET is not the source of admission. 

Admission to undergraduate programs at the University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) in Delhi is based on performance in the NEET, followed by counselling. Admission to postgraduate programs is based on the marks obtained in the NEET PG examination. Admission to the MBBS programme is based on NEET UG marks.

UCMS Delhi accepts the NEET UG entrance exam for admission to the MBBS course. The cutoff ranks vary by round and category. For the General AI category, the NEET UG last round closing rank for MBBS admission was 559. This indicates that candidates with a lower cutoff rank than 559 have higher chances of getting admission at UCMS.

After the NEET MDS result declares, the eligible candidates can opt for counselling rounds. To participate in the NEET MDS 2025 counselling, eligible candidates have to register themselves on the official website of MCC. They have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses as well. Four rounds of counselling are originally conducted including the online stray vacancy round for admission into Masters of Dental Surgery courses. Based on the marks and ranks of the applicants, choice filled, seat availability, and other criteria, MCC releases the seat allotment list for NEET MDS counselling. Selected candidates have to report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. In case of vacant seats, MCC will conduct additional rounds of counselling.

The annual intake of the college is 13 for Diploma programme.

The candidate must qualify NEET PG for MD/MS with a decent rank and must have a MBBS degree recognised by MCI with a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for reserved categories).
