Placements: Vaigai College of Engineering is a good placement college. 95 percent of mechanical department students placed in good companies in 2021. This college brought reputed companies like JSW, OLA, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Sonata, Tata Motors, TCS, etc. The highest salary package is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 1.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Vaigai College of Engineering Infrastructure Facilities was very good. More mechanical laboratories and a well-equipped library are also here at this college. This college has multiple sports grounds facilities. These college hostel rooms are daily maintained in very good condition. The hostel food taste is also good. The sports grounds and coaching staff are also available in this college.
Faculty: Vaigai College of Engineering teachers are very friendly people. They conduct more model exams every month. This college staff are more experienced persons. They arrange more industry visit programs every semester. 95 percent of students passed semester exams. This college staff is very helpful to our placements.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty that we have in our college.
Placements: 60 percent of students were placed in our college. The highest package is INR 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest is INR 3 lacs per annum. Neomax is the top recruiting company. 40 percent of students got an internship. Computer science is at the top. All have graduated with a good CGPA from our college. We are proud to say we are studying here.
Infrastructure: All facilities are provided at our college. The infrastructure of our college is beautiful. It is safe and secure. The mess is very clean and healthy. Sports and games are also provided. We have separate rooms for health-related students, and in our college, all areas are covered by cameras. Every student is watched by our principal.
Faculty: Faculty behave as friendly and caring people. They teach us very clearly, apart from the syllabus, and they also teach us to improve our knowledge. All faculty provide a book for good results. I am all clear at our college because of the staff's teaching method is good.
Other: All celebrations must happen at our college. Courses are provided clearly. The campus crowd is smaller. The number of students is lower in our college. Passing out college gets placed in different companies.

I am satisfied with this college because of faculty members and good placements in 2023.
Placements: About 60% of students get placements in our college. Computer science students are placed more. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. A lot of construction companies recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It is a well-spaced college. Wi-Fi is provided for Naan Mudhalvan online class, which is conducted every Friday by the government.
Faculty: All faculty members in our college are caring and well-educated. They teach us like in a school. They teach us the entire syllabus. They teach apart from studies like life management and plans. They provide study materials for our exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in civil engineering. In the civil department, there is no age limit for work. Every month, we celebrate at least a fest. Scholarships are provided for first graduates and counseling students.

Top recruiting companies are Technoneo, HCL, Vishal constructions. Students are provided with good leadership roles while learning.
Infrastructure: Computer laboratories are provided with free Wi-Fi for students' welfare and other departments' laboratories are provided with their necessary laboratory equipment. College hostels are there near the campus with a good canteen. Sports facilities are not good in this college.
Faculty: In this college, the exams are very easy to pass and an average student can get a pass. This course is very relevant to the curriculum. The teachers are industrially experienced and knowledgeable. They are very caring and passionate whose look to live the student's career.

Our college is the best for those who are ready to attempt the GATE exam.
Placements: The placement rate of our college is almost 75%. Most of the students studying in our college are trained for campus interviews and they are ready to attend the interviews, but some of them are selected for the job. So placements in our college are good but not the best.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has a huge ground for students to showcase their talents. It provides good Wi-Fi facility around the campus. There is a vehicle parking space in our college. But there are no bus facilities for the students to commute from various places.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well talented and very friendly. They teach us to develop our knowledge and prepare us to attend the GATE exam and be ready for campus interviews. But some of the faculty members behave rudely. However, they are not part of the college now.
Other: Many events are held in our college. Some of the fests are conducted during the farewell.

A well-rounded college experience with strong academic support for semester exams in Madurai.
Placements: I studied B.E. mechanical engineering and finished in 2024. All the students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary is 3.5 LPA. Around 60% of students got internships. The common roles offered are graduate engineer trainee, electrical design engineer, site engineer, and maintenance engineer. The college experience is good. Teachers are helpful, and placement support is strong. The overall environment is friendly and focuses on learning.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is good. We have well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a decent library with enough books and resources. Practical sessions are helpful, and the equipment is mostly in working condition. The hostel is comfortable. Rooms are shared. The food in the mess is average, but manageable. Overall, both the course and hostel facilities are satisfactory.
Faculty: Teachers are good and explain topics clearly. They help us in labs and during projects. The syllabus is well-planned and includes both theory and practical topics. Some new subjects are added in the final year. Exams happen every semester. They are not too hard if we study regularly. Marks also came from internals, assignments, and lab work.
Other: College also support extracurricular activities like sports, cultural events, and technical fests. We have chances to join clubs and improve our soft skills. Placement training and mock interviews are also given, which help during campus placements. Overall, it is a good place to learn and grow, both academically and personally.

Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
