Review of Vaikunth Mehta National Institute.
Placements: Placements are quite good with an average salary package of 8 LPA and the highest salary package is 14 LPA. Some of the top companies like DCM, Shriram, UPL, Adani Wilmar, Bayer crop science, Federal bank, AMUL, ADM, PI Industries, Tata Rallies, etc. offer good roles. There is a good summer internship with an average stipend of Rs.20,000 per month offered by good companies. This college maintains its legacy of 100% placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are amazing with spacious rooms for two students, an open balcony with fresh air, and bathrooms are quite comfortable with geysers, shower, basin, and well furnished. It also has 24 hours elevator and cooling water facility. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi facility inside our hostel.
Faculty: Top and highly educated professors with good experience are provided. Trimester system is followed and we frequently have exams. If we study properly and listen properly it is quite easy to pass. Case studies are discussed in class and also asked in exams which helps us to get prepared for corporate life.
Other: It is one of the top agribusiness B-School in India.

It is one of the best institutions to pursue agriculture-business management studies in India.
Placements: VAMNICOM has proven track record of providing 100% placements for final as well as summer placements right from the time of its inception. The highest salary package offered for the batch of 2018-2020 was around 11 LPA, while the average salary package offered was around 7.3 LPA. Top recruiters for final placements include Tata, Rallis, UPL Ltd, DCM Shriram, etc., from the agriculture input sector, ICRISAT from consulting, Amul from FMCG, HDFC and Federal from the banking industry, NAFED, ADM, Glencore, etc., from the commodity sector and a lot emerging companies from MFIs and Agritech space. It is a similar case with summer internships as well, and major companies from various industries show interest to hire students from our course. Some of them are Reliance Retail, Adama India, UPL Ltd, ICRISAT, Bayer CropScience Ltd, etc. Roles offered to students vary from company to company and sector-wise as well.
Infrastructure: As this institution is under the Government of India, many programmes are conducted here round the year in which foreign delegates from various countries attend. Thus the infrastructure and facilities are maintained accordingly. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and services are provided by National Informatics Centre, Pune. You will miss this college once you passed out of it. A doctor is available on the campus during office hours, while at other times, there is a vehicle which is reserved for escorting students for availing any medical assistance in case of emergencies. Hostels are well maintained with housekeeping facilities every day. Sports facilities available here include an indoor badminton court, a basketball court, TT courts, etc.
Faculty: VAMNICOM maintains a good combination of in-house and guest faculty members. A lot of courses are taught by domain experts who come from various parts of the country. In-house faculty members have abundant experience and worked in the industry and also have teaching experience. Guest faculty members invited here range from industry experts to policymakers. VAMNICOM follows a practice of inviting industry experts and policymakers every week to speak on various industry and policy-related issues, and thus they help students to gain insights into the same.
Other: If you want to choose agriculture-business for post-graduation studies, then VAMNICOM should be among your top priorities.

I am satisfied with this institute. It provides the best placements every year.
Placements: Our institute provides 100% placement because of strong and large alumni. It is a national institute that comes under the ministry of agriculture, and farmers welfare, so many government organisations, visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered this year is 11 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top government organisations like NAFED, ASCI, NBHC Pvt. Ltd. NABARD, etc., visit our campus for placements. Private organisations like AMUL, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, UPL, Yara Fertilisers, Axis Bank, etc., visited our campus for placements. For agriculture roles like input company, zonal, regional managers, and for banks, relationship manager, credit manager are offered to the students. All students have to do a summer internship for 2 months in any location in India, and it is compulsory and carries marks in the above organisation.
Infrastructure: Institute provides all the facilities which are required for students like Wi-Fi and air-conditioned classrooms with a projector system. The college provides a library where many agriculture-related newspapers and magazines are available for students. Our course is a residential programme, so the college provides good hostel for both girls and boys with all facilities. Food served in the canteen is also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. They live on the campus. Along with teaching, they work for government projects. They share their experience with us as city boys do not know more about rural areas, so they explain to us very well. The course curriculum is relevant, and this course makes students ready to work in the industry. Summer internship and experiences of our alumni along with course curriculum make students industry-ready. Many faculty members are from IIM Ahmedabad and IRMA Anand to teach us.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am an agriculture graduate, so I wanted to do MBA in agriculture business management. I can work in a rural area and also in urban areas with this course. Everything is best in our course. Every year students organise the event named Sutra, which is alumni meet. All students come and visit our campus and enjoy many games and food. Spardha is a national event of our institute where we invite agriculture graduates from the country for many events and competitions.

Best central government institute for pursuing PGDM ABM.
Placements: Vamnicom maintains it tradition of 100% placement every year. The highest package for batch 207-19 is 8.5Lacks. Counting average package of 6.5Lacks. HDFC Bank. Tata rallies, Swatantra Microfinance, H. M. Clause, ADM, reliance retail Ltd. Ninjacart, AMUL, DCM Shriram, etc. Were the recruiter this year. For summer internship programme AMUL, ICRISAT, Bayer Crop Science, sumitomo, HM Clause, TCS, Gramophone, source Trace systems, The placements are looked by the placement cell. The most unique feature of Vamnicom is its student driven programme.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good at Vamnicom. The campus is in heart of Pune city. With all standard, prominent facilities AC lecture hall with projectors. Jublie hall- AC auditorium, shivneri hall for events, jagganath community hall. 2 mess canteen, Girls and Boys hostels with living 2student per room. 24*7 Wi-Fi connectivity in campus with 100MBPS speed. The foundation stone for international Boys hostel is laid by Hon' Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh Union Minister for agriculture and farmers welfare Government of India.
Faculty: Being a national institute the main focus is given on quality education, the course curriculum is designed as per the industry need. The PGDM ABM course offers the deep knowledge agriculture business and management. The teaching method is based on case study pedology. Special focus is given on presentations skills communication skills of the students, the courses of 6 semesters. Include 3 semesters in a year. Lots of assignment, live projects, industry interface is given for better understanding of the current trend in the industry. Guest lecturers visit campus from colleges like IIM Ahmedabad. IRMA, MANAGE.
Other: Vamnicom rangers every year a national event call spardha where participants from all around India participate show their talent. There are various chapters arrange for aluminies. College organisers industrial visit to Gujarat every year. Scholarship are provided to the meritorious students up to rupees 40000/-. Being in National institute every festivals like Pongal, Onam, Shiv jayanti, Holi Diwali is celebrated by the student.

There were almost 100% placements in college since 24 years.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements. The highest salary package offered was 11.50 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4.20 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 5.60 LPA. Companies like Agrochemicals, FACG, Microfinance, Banks, NOGs, Retail, and Agri Inputs, etc., have visited our campus for placements.
Almost 100% of the students got internships from college. The stipend offered was around Rs. 18,000 per month. This is a student-driven college, and the placement cell is run by students only. I was also a placement coordinator. As the committee belongs to the students, they have to work for 100% placement rate. The placement cell was efficient.
Infrastructure: All facilities that MBA students require were provided. They provided facilities like Wi-Fi, library, medical, sports and games, etc. Classrooms were well-designed and equipped with air-conditioners, projectors and other facilities. Hostels were located in a good location and environment. I never faced any issues in the college during the 2 years of my course.
Faculty: The majority of the faculty members had industry experience, and very less faculty members were in-house faculty members. We also got industry exposure. Agribusiness management is a useful course. Teaching quality was excellent. Faculty members were self-motivated, and both inside and outside experiences were shared during the course.
Other: The surroundings of the campus were lush-green. Our college organises events, and we enjoy a lot. Spardha is the best event conducted on the B-school level.

The best government college for pursuing ABM.
Placements: The college provides almost 100% placements in the best agriculture-based companies. The average salary package offered is 6.50 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12.50 LPA. Summer placements are also provided by the college where you get good industry interface and real-time knowledge of the market. Cooperative companies, retail sector companies, as well as banks visit our campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. Classrooms are air-conditioned, and the college provides Wi-Fi facilities in the college and hostel with a speed of 100 Mbps. There are separate TV halls for girls and boys. Separate hostels for girls and boys and an auditorium are also provided. The atmosphere of the college is pleasant, and it is located in the heart of the city. A guest house is also available for visitors, and mess facility is available on the campus.
Faculty: The college has the best internal faculty members around India. Renowned guest faculty members visit our campus. The visiting faculty members are from IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, Fergusson College Pune and Tilak College for Economics Pune. They follow the best teaching practices. Students get deep knowledge which leads to the overall development of their personality.
Other: Various fests like Sutra spardha are organised by the college.
