Valia Polytechnic College offers three-year Diploma courses. The college offers Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates must pass Class 10 to apply for Diploma courses. Admissions are merit-based.

Aspirants do not need to pass an entrance exam for admission at Valia Polytechnic College. Candidates who have passed Class 10 from a recognised board are eligible for admission to Diploma courses. The seats are allotted to candidates by Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses, Gujarat. Once selected, aspirants need to pay the course fees to confirm their seat.
