Review of Vasavi Degree College, Narasaraopet.

Placements: 80% of students passed out in 2024. They provided campus placements, but only 20% of students got jobs. The highest package was 3.4 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.0 LPA. All non-IT companies like Wipro and HDFC did not fill job vacancies. Internship was done in a local company only, but they did not provide any job.

Infrastructure: The food and water facilities in the hostel were good and hygienic. Rooms were clean and maintained properly. The hostel environment was peaceful and suitable for students. But this was not a luxury hostel. There were no Wi-Fi facilities provided for students, which was a drawback. Also, western toilets were not available, only Indian-style washrooms were provided. Overall, the hostel was good for staying with basic facilities, but it lacked modern amenities like internet access and western washrooms. Suitable for students looking for a simple stay.

Faculty: Some subjects in our college were very useful and were taught well by experienced faculty. Exams were conducted properly as per the given schedule, like mid exams and semester exams. Facilities in the college treated students in a good manner. But a few subjects were not explained well.

Other: I chose B.Com for a better future in the accounting sector. There was more practical experience in computers and Tally software. Yearly once, a college fest was held, and games, dance performances were also there, but this all depended on students.
