The admission procedure of Maulana Azad National Urdu University is a multi-step process that includes application, selection, and admission confirmation. Step 1: MANUU Application Process

Interested students can visit the official website of the university to register for the programme of choice. On the homepage of the university students can click on the "Admission" tab and proceed with the application. Aspirants need to provide documents and details, such as name, educational qualification, etc. The application portals for regular and distance modes are different. Aspirants are advised to go through the prospectus before applying.

Step 2: MANUU Selection Process

Maulana Azad National Urdu University shortlists students based on various parameters depending on the course chosen by the students. For courses which accept students through entrance exams, the exam score of the student is considered. For merit-based admissions, the university shortlists based on academic performance.

Step 3: MANUU Seat Allocation

As per the SOP, for entrance-based admissions, the following criteria will be followed for shortlisting candidates based on CUET scores:

• Those who have selected MANUU as the first preference and appeared for the General & Urdu Test will be given priority for seat selection
• Second preference will be given to those who appeared in CUET, didn't select MANUU as their preferred university but have cleared the General Test and Urdu Test
• Third preference will be given to those who appeared in CUET for other domain subjects but selected MANUU as the preferred university
• Fourth preference will be given to the candidates who have appeared in CUET, but neither selected MANUU nor appeared for the General and Urdu Test
• If the seats are vacant, the final preference will be given on a merit basis

Step 4: MANUU Admission Confirmation

Shortlisted students need to go through document verification and proceed with admission by paying the application fee.
