March 22, 2022: Vedatya Institute, a pioneer in service industry education, and Istituto Marangoni, one of the world's top design institutions, have agreed to collaborate to provide world-class education in a variety of design disciplines.
The newly established School of Design and Creative Arts (SDCA) at Vedatya designed its curriculum in response to active industry feedback to address the skill set deficiency among current design graduates. This feedback, which aims to transmit broad-based design abilities, a design thinking approach, and essential business knowledge, serves as the foundation for Vedatya's distinctive programme offerings in fashion design, interior design, visual communication, and design management. In July 2022, Vedatya will launch its first design programme.

The collaboration with Istituto Marangoni expands Vedatya's offering by giving students the option of earning a professional certificate from Istituto Marangoni in a variety of design-related specialisations or spending a semester abroad at one of their multiple locations, which include Milano, Paris, and London, the world's top fashion capitals. While Vedatya waits for its cohort to begin in July 2022, it is now providing a summer programme in Europe by Istituto Marangoni at a reduced rate for students interested in design and fashion.

Vedatya has limited its enrollment to 30 students this year in order to preserve a healthy student-to-faculty ratio. It has a comprehensive admissions criterion, of which academic performance is only one component. It is vital that applicants demonstrate broad-based proficiency, which includes extra-curricular activities, general knowledge, and a desire to pursue a career in the design arena.
