Diploma in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.2
Good faculty and difficult infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placement options in the mechanical field at the college. Student performance varies based on their learning and submissions. No student has a percentage between 62 and 70, and many have 80% and 90% or above. This information is correct and provided by me.
Infrastructure: Courses are good, with the best faculty available. All the machinery is available in the laboratories, and everything is explained before you start the practical. Wi-Fi is available in the lab and the Python lab. Medical facilities are available, along with a fully functional canteen. Sports events are held at the college.
Faculty: The teachers are quite qualified and provide a question bank before the examination. Two class tests are taken before your board exams. The exam schedule is sent out one month in advance, and preparation starts three weeks before.

Really good and helpful faculty and the environment of the college.
Placements: In this college, only mechanical department students get placed from the college. Other departments don't get placements. Internships also we have to find on our own. The department refers a few companies for placement or internship. 1/4 of percent of students get placed.
Infrastructure: College has good and well-equipped laboratories. College doesn't have a hostel. Also, it has a canteen with a variety of items at an affordable rate. It also has a mechanical workshop, and the laboratories have Wi-Fi access. The college has its ground where students play sports.
Faculty: Faculty is really the best. They are very experienced, and their way of teaching is also very good and helpful for students. Semester exams are from the MSBTE board, and it has a 70-mark paper, and you have to at least get 28 marks to pass. Students are industry-ready till the end of the course.
Other: The best thing about my course is the practical lectures because it was the time when we used to see what we had studied in theory lectures. Talking about events, it has many social events, cultural events, annual day, etc.

Review of Vidyavardhini's Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic College.
Placements: The college does not offer any placements for diploma candidates but some professors recommend companies that have vacancies ongoing. But there are no official placements from the college side for diploma graduate candidates.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel provided by the college. Neither there are any hostels near the college. The infrastructure is quite good with basic facilities like parking, playground, clubhouse, seminars hall, library, labs, workshop, computer lab, and special drawing-room. There is also a small canteen inside the college but I suggest you eat outside the campus.
Faculty: All the professors are highly qualified from renowned colleges and universities. The course is very much relevant and it surely makes students industry-ready. Even the college staff is quite helpful. Exams are conducted on the basis of the MSBTE pattern which is equally tough and with proper management. The minimum percentage is 40% to pass the exam.
Other: There are no as such major functions. But the college arranges annual meet and sports days. Mechanical engineering is always my passion so I am pursuing it. It's all about the machine and automobile industry.

It has very bad infrastructure and bad crowd, and there are no facilities for students.
Placements: This is the worst college I have ever seen. It lacks many facilities, and there is no proper staff and classrooms. It lacks infrastructure. This is the best Polytechnic college in Mumbai, located in Ville Parle. Don't join this college and waste your time.
Infrastructure: There is nothing in this college, no gym, no proper library, no proper computer lab, and all the computers and AC do not work. They don't even allow us to turn on AC. They don't support any sports. A canteen is available, but it is not proper.
Faculty: Minimum pass marks are 28 marks out of 70 in each subject. The teachers in our college are not proper at all. They don't allow us to choose electives. Passing exams is not much difficult but scoring good marks is difficult.
Other: There are no events, and the crowd is bad. Good scholarships are provided.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members, really good environment and facilities provided.
Placements: Internships are provided after the end of the semester to every student, and a form is provided to them to fill. There are no placements for a diploma in civil engineering. However, there are placements for other courses. Industrial visits and project visits are conducted to various locations nearby and famous places.
Infrastructure: Facilities like E-learning, etc., are provided here. AutoCAD and various online curriculum things are conducted. Wi-Fi is provided in computer labs, and there are CCTV cameras everywhere. The library has every author's books. The library provides computer learning and well-planned sitting services separately for girls and boys.
Faculty: The best thing about our college is that the teachers are highly qualified and have experience of more than 10-15 years. Teachers who are authors of books teach here. The course teaches every practical, and the workshops are conducted. If you study, then exams are not difficult. The passing percentage of our college is more than 85%.
Other: Civil engineering is the oldest course of engineering, and it provides lots of knowledge. So, I chose this course. Through civil engineering, students gain knowledge of construction, which is the leading field of India's GDP growth. Civil engineering has very few vacancies or not at all have vacancies. Even in-hand salary offered is very less in the private field compared to other courses. Events like an annual function, prize distribution, techno and other sports activities are conducted.

Review of Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic.
Placements: For mechanical engineers, professors of Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic have many contacts in industries in Vasai-Virar. So, if a student wants to do a job after diploma can get 100% placements from our college. But most of the students pursue a degree after diploma, so placement chances after diploma will be higher. Since this college is the best in Palghar district, it has many contacts, and it helps students to get placements.
Infrastructure: Practical labs in Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic College have the latest and ISO certified instruments, which help students to keep updated. Classrooms are outdated here, and there are wooden benches. There is no Wi-Fi for students, and there are old toilets. However, there is an air-conditioned lab for mechanical and civil students in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members of Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic are very helpful. They complete their term work on time along with the students. They also engage with students quite good. But there is a shortage of some professors for certain subjects in this college. So, a single professor teaches 2 subjects.
Other: Bahusaheb Vartak Polytechnic is the best college in Palghar district. So, if students stay in Palghar and want to pursue a diploma, then they must consider this college. If any student stays in Mumbai, then they should choose other diploma colleges.
