Reviewing Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic College.

Placements: 98 percent of the students were placed from this course. The highest package offered is about 8 lacs and the lowest package is 3 lacs. The best roles offered are as Jr. software developer and software developer. 99 percent students got internships.

Infrastructure: The college is nice. The infrastructure is not really nice, but the classes include Wi-Fi, projectors, along wug full time access to lab and library. The college phases many sports and technical events. Every year, the college takes the students to campus trips.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, educated and helpful. The course curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are not at all difficult. Even the passing percentage is 90%. The students can easily pass the exams.

Other: The best thing of this course is the curriculum. The course makes the students industry ready and gives us good knowledge. The college organizes sports events, annual meet day, technical rounds and hackathons every year.

It has very bad infrastructure and bad crowd, and there are no facilities for students.

Placements: This is the worst college I have ever seen. It lacks many facilities, and there is no proper staff and classrooms. It lacks infrastructure. This is the best Polytechnic college in Mumbai, located in Ville Parle. Don't join this college and waste your time.

Infrastructure: There is nothing in this college, no gym, no proper library, no proper computer lab, and all the computers and AC do not work. They don't even allow us to turn on AC. They don't support any sports. A canteen is available, but it is not proper.

Faculty: Minimum pass marks are 28 marks out of 70 in each subject. The teachers in our college are not proper at all. They don't allow us to choose electives. Passing exams is not much difficult but scoring good marks is difficult.

Other: There are no events, and the crowd is bad. Good scholarships are provided.

Good college for computer engineering department, placements are good and really good facilites.

Placements: I am in my second year at Bhausaheb Vartak Polytechnic. The seniors at our college have good placement in companies like Infosys and TCS. The average salary that students get is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA and the lowest salary is 6 LPA. The cutoff for the CO department is above 60%.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average; the classrooms are neat and clean; the labs are also good; Wi-Fi is limited to labs only; this is a problem. The library is good but the staff arranged for the library is rude in their behavior. Sports are held after mid-semester exams.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and experienced. The course is curriculum relevant and the semester exams are not that difficult as the teachers give a question bank for each exam and also clear up any doubts regarding it. The pass percentage is 35%.

I'm absolutely satisfied with my college facilities, faculty and overall everything.

Placements: The placement facility in our college is very good. There were 200 students in our batch and out of 200, 195 of us got placed in various good and reputable companies. Many of us got internships and many of us were placed for a long term jobs. The placement rate is quite good.

Infrastructure: We had every facility from the library, computer to Wi-Fi in our department. My department was Diploma in computer engineering so computers were the essential thing. But we also had a library in which 500+ books were there of just our department and total of 2000+ books of other departments.

Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful and friendly. As per my experience, our department was of computer engineering so the teachers used to explain every detail of the subject and were always ready to solve our doubts without any hesitation. All the teachers are highly qualified in their respective fields.

Other: I chose computer engineering because I was interested in IT field since grade 10. I was pretty good at IT since then. So after 10th, I decided to study for Diploma in computer engineering and thanks to my college I'm placed in a very good and reputable company.

Really good staff, but the infrastructure is not that good.

Placements: You won't get any placement if you are in any of the computer fields. You have to go for a degree to get a good job. If you are in mechanical, however, you can get low-paying jobs if you have a degree, the degree will be easier for you to get as your base builds up here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really old. Some PCs don't even work(but they are trying to fix that). The building is losing paint, and the projectors of some classes blink. They only paint the college when there is an event or state-level MSBTE competition, otherwise, they don't care about their students.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they teach what is required, but there are always 1-2 teachers who don't want to teach anything and just pass the time. The curriculum is kind of old, the compiler specifications in MSBTE are not up to date, making it harder to work on newer compilers in the future.

Other: Scholarship is good as well as the staff. I can't say anything about the crowd, it's very self-centred.
