Not so good, not so bad, just an average college with average facilities.
Placements: I'm studying B.A. Honours, and many students are enrolled in this course in our college. The B.A. course has offered packages ranging from 20,000 (the highest for freshers) to 8,000 (the lowest) per month, with around 80 percent of students getting internships. This is a normal course, and mostly high-profile offers are not available.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided here, but the speed is average. The college has separate labs and classrooms, our classroom is good but has no AC, only ceiling fans. The library is very good and very quiet, with books for all courses. We also have a small canteen with decent food.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good and highly qualified. Whenever we approach them with any questions, they explain everything clearly. The exams are not too hard; if you study properly, they are easy, and the pass percentage is 80 perncet.
Other: The thing is, this course alone is not enough for the future, you need to do something extra. Our college throws a freshers' party every year for the new batch with lots of singers, and it is super fun.

Undergraduate life.
Placements: In our batch, placement of our department was only 10% and nothing was offered from our college. No one secured internship. We all are still unemployed now. College had organised some orientation programs but they were not that much useful or helpful for students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were average. Infrastructure and event of study was not up to the mark. There was no hostel facility available. Washrooms was hygienic. There was no smart board in classrooms. A smart classroom was required for our course but it was not available. Library was quite good compared to others.
Faculty: Teachers were not very supportive. Sometimes, they showed partially. They were not helpful. Course curriculum was relevant and helpful. Exam was not so difficult. I had completed with 68% in my subject. Curriculum was designed as per our requirement.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an archaeologist.

Good college for Microbiology.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed from our department. As it's a government college, we should not expect placement. Internships were provided in the college's own internet radio station, Radio Kolkata.org. From there, approximately a student can earn 3k. The top role I got in my course was working as a program editor.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good with a clean and green environment, with Wi-Fi facility and clean, cold, and normal drinking water. It has a good air-conditioned journalism lab and an air-conditioned virtual lab with good technological facilities. It doesn't have a hostel but had a good canteen, and it also has sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers' behavior is good but needs more efficiency in teaching methods by providing proper notes. The course curriculum can be said to be relevant. Students get knowledge about theoretical concepts more than gaining knowledge in practical concepts, so it would be a little bit of a struggle to become industry-ready.

Very much satisfied with our faculty. It's quite a good college overall.
Placements:
Since I have not passed out yet, I'm not that sure about the placements, but as far as I have heard, we can get good placements if we perform well enough. Our college hosts many programs where we can join other courses from outside which may help in our career and also guarantee good placements.
Infrastructure: We don't have Wi-Fi available as far as I know. Other than that, we have really spacious classrooms, labs for the Science students, and a very good library. The food in our canteen is affordable and of average quality. There are proper medical facilities, and sports are held on a good basis.
Faculty: Our teachers are very nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. They teach us from the very basics and make us understand everything quite easily. They are very friendly with us. Although I was a student who was afraid to ask questions in school, I feel quite comfortable asking questions to them. I feel that they try their best to guide us. I am very satisfied with our faculty.

Hill campus life with good teachers.
Placements: My classroom was big, so there were 140–145 students. The maximum package students get is about INR 15,000 per month. There were not many recruiters at my college. They got simple accounting jobs in stores. There are not many top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities for this college, so if you are a student living outside Kolkata, you have to stay in a rented house or PG. All kinds of sports are played here (indoor and outdoor). You can get a library on the college website, where you can have 1000+ books. The facilities are all good.
Faculty: The teachers in my department were all good, especially Sreyam sir (the accounts teacher). I feel they are very qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. This course also helps you get small jobs; from there, it's on you to get promotions and years of experience to get a high-paying job. The semester exam was also not so tough; if you have done your practice thoroughly, you can get high marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in accounting and commerce. Now, according to the new syllabus, the course has been extended by an extra year, so now this is a four-year course that will take you into the depths of accounting. The surroundings on campus are the best; you can do whatever you want, wear whatever you want, and have extracurricular activities.

This college provides experience and good environment.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in this course. Many students failed to attend online classes. Many students quit their studies during the lockdown. Many of them lost hope and interest in studying further.
Infrastructure: Our campus was eco-friendly and well-maintained. Classrooms were properly equipped with chairs, tables, and fans. The food served in the canteen was very good. We always share our money so that everyone can enjoy canteen food. There were 374 classrooms in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and helpful. They explain all questions easily. All teachers were friendly. Despite the lockdown, they provided proper guidance to students. They also provided notes and study materials during exams.
Other: I would recommend students to join this college.
