Very good infrastructure but a small ground, decent placements, and good, helpful faculty members.

Placements: In this college, B.Tech was started back in 2021, so the placement cell is not fully developed yet. Still, last year, the highest package offered was around 36 LPA, and the average was around 4–5 LPA. The college exposure is good. If you work on your skills, you will definitely get a good job.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch here. In terms of infrastructure, VIPS is at the top position in GGSIPU. Wi-Fi connectivity, centralized AC, well-maintained classrooms, projectors, washrooms, water coolers, and all basic amenities are available. The library is also well-equipped and has plenty of books from different fields.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and open to communication. However, most of them are assistant professors. The course curriculum is based on the syllabus of GGSIPU, so the college does not have control over it. Semester exams are not very tough. Most students score good marks, and almost 95% of students pass.

Other: I think VIPS should introduce its own syllabus and focus more on students gaining hands-on skills rather than just theoretical knowledge. Students should be trained from the very first year. Events and fests should be free, and the college should not charge for any events or fests.

Good campus, mixed academics, and self-effort are the keys.

Placements: At Vivekanda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi 60-70 percent of students get placed mostly in the sales, marketing, or basic finance roles only. Basic package varies around 4 LPA-5 LPA and only a few high-paying opportunities but it's up to the students to grab and secure them on the basis of their skills.

Infrastructure: As for the infrastructure at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, I'd like to say that it is really good and decent and far better than the other colleges of IP universities. All basic and many advanced facilities are made available too.

Faculty: Faculty at VIPS is really supportive and a few teachers are just average too. Curriculum is followed of GGSIPU, mostly theory-based and with lesser practical exposure and as far as the exams go they are manageable if you stay consistent with internals and assignments.

Really good infrastructure of the campus and good educational facilities.

Placements: Around 60-75% of students from my course get placed generally. The placement rate is moderate. The highest package offered is around 8-10 LPA. The average package is around 3-5 LPA. The lowest package range is around 2-2.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Khaitan&co, SAM, Deloitte and KPMG. The top roles students usually get are legal intern and research intern. This is the most common. Apart from this, students also get roles like compliance associate and corporate legal associate.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is amazing. The campus has three buildings, which are named A block, B block, and C block. However, VIPS does not provide hostel accommodation. A basketball court and an indoor badminton court are available for students. The canteen has various food options which are very budget-friendly, and the quality of food is top-notch. Medical facilities are also amazing. There is even a meditation room in the B block building, where students can go anytime in between lectures or during break. Also, there are so many cute cats that live inside the campus.

Faculty: Most faculty of my course are well-qualified with many PhDs and experience. They guide the students in problem-solving and teach the concepts with ease. The teaching quality is good with practical exposure. Teachers are very approachable and supportive. The curriculum follows GGSIPU. It is relevant and updated. It covers core subjects and includes moot court, internships, and research work. The minimum passing percentage is 40%. The exams are usually moderate-level and mostly theory-based. Failing in these exams is rare.

VIPS is a good college, especially reputed for B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Placements: The placement percentage is around 60-70%. However, the placement cell is not very active. The alumni of this course get recruited in various industries such as media, PR agencies, advertising agencies, event management, and radio. Many hardcore journalism media houses also recruit students. The college also provides internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The college does not have a hostel. However, the infrastructure of the campus is great. The campus has 3 different academic buildings which are divided on the basis of courses. Each building has a lift and its own library. Moreover, there are various labs in all buildings specific to the courses. For my course, BAJMC, we have a computer lab, Photos and video studio, as well as radio studio. We get all facilities and accessories necessary for holistic understanding of our course. Furthermore, we have a meditation room, auditorium, conference room, seminar hall. As well as canteen and medical room, .

Faculty: The faculty of my course, BAJMC, is highly knowledgeable and competent. They have a lot of experience in the teaching field as well as in the industry, which greatly helps students get to know about industry insights. The curriculum for our course is very interdisciplinary. We are taught various subjects such as design, photography, public relations, advertising, event management, and much more, which helps students gain a holistic education.

VIPS College review (Good and bad aspects explained).

Placements: I am in my 1st year, and the placements are average. Not all the students are placed, some of them get placed, but the packages are not very big. You need to develop some great skills. Most of the seniors don't get placed if their skill set is not good, as it is difficult for BCA students to get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of VIPS is good, but there is no hostel facility as of now. You need to stay in PG if you are from another state. The facilities provided by the college are nice. The canteen is one of the best facilities. There are almost no sports and games. Medical facilities are good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Some teachers, however, are rude, but most of them are nice and ready to help. The curriculum is relevant, but to be industry-ready, you need to work on yourself. The exams are not very hard, most of the questions get repeated.

Other: VIPS is one of the best colleges to study BCA from. The placements, however, can be improved. Events are not that good, there are events, but students need to pay for every event.

Placements: Placements are good, approx 70% of students get placed this year. The highest package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 4-5 LPA, which will improve with time for sure. Top recruitment companies are Amazon, Oracle, Infosys, IBM, and Zomato. They also offer internships to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good and well-maintained. There are air-conditioned classrooms and corridors. Wi-Fi facilities are also available for the students. The labs are also very well maintained, equipped with modern machines and high-end computers. The washrooms are clean and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers are well-educated and very helpful. The course curriculum is also nice, but one issue is that core subjects related to the chosen specialisation are introduced quite late. Semester exams are moderately difficult but are held frequently, which can create academic pressure sometimes, and around 90% of students pass the mid sem exams.

Other: I chose this course because I am very passionate about cybersecurity and want to pursue it as my career. Also there are clubs for each branch, which is very helpful for people like me as they allow us to connect with similar-minded people. The campus is a little small, so there is not much space to play on the ground. The annual fest takes place in the month of February, but many other events are organized throughout the year.
