VMR College: Diploma course with lots of highs and lows.
Placements: The college has the highest package of up to 20 LPA, an average package of 5-10 LPA, and the lowest package of around 5 LPA. The college has seen placements in several reputed companies like Google, NPTC, etc. Approximately 40-50% of the students are placed in internships through the college.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for the college, but the infrastructure is well and good. There are classrooms sufficient for all the branches like Computer Science, Electrical and Communication Engineering, and Electrical, with sufficient computer laboratories.
Faculty: The faculty are well experienced and supportive of the students. Both theoretical and practical knowledge are shared by the faculty in a good manner. Also, the faculty always supports the students to learn and grow toward their career goals.

The infrastructure was really good with helpful and top facilities.
Placements: Above 30% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 24 LPA, the lowest package was 6 LPA, and the average package was 10 LPA. Around 80 percent of students get their internships every year who are passed out. The top roles in Microsoft and TCS.
Infrastructure: The hostel food was somewhat good, so we maximum ate in the canteen. They conducted a sports meet every year. Medical faculty was not available in our college. Wi-Fi was available near labs.
Faculty: Only the top-rated faculty members accepted the college management, so the teaching quality was extremely great. This helped us pass the semester exams easily. The passing percentage is above 95%. We were ready for any industry and able to work practically with ease. Faculty members were really good.
Other: I chose electronic communication engineering because I liked the experiments we did in the labs. Events and fests were conducted.

Urban college experience : A review of VMR polytechnic
Placements: There are no college placements in VMR or in any other polytechnic college. There are few job opportunities to students who completed diploma, especially for cse students very low opportunities. EEE, ECE, MECH branches have good govt job opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college is established in the year 1992, and the building is old. I am not a hostel student, I found the college decent and worthy of it's price. If we don't like college hostel we can stay in private hostels located outside the college. The college has many classrooms and good labs. The canteen in this college is just average only few items are present. This college has a huge library and they give textbooks for each semester, some of the them are updated ones and some are outdated i.e. previous curriculum.
Faculty: MPC faculty in this college is good. But technical faculty is not good. Only few of the technical faculty is good. If you join in this college you have to study own because most of the faculty teaching is bad. The exams- mid1, mid2, semester are very strictly conducted by the SBTET board under CCTV surveillance. So there is no chance to copy or malpractice.
Other: I joined in this college in the year 2022 in CSE branch. There will be no fests and Events in this college. It is located in Rampur, Hanumakonda. And the campus environment is greenery and filled with fresh air. This college has a lot of crowd. This college also has a huge library. Labs are also very good. The only minus point in this college is faculty, so many of them are not good enough for teaching. They exactly say what is in the book no proper explanation. And for the exams we have to study by ourself. I wish they improve the quality of the faculty.

If we want to study well, don't join this college. If we want to timepass, then we can join.
Placements: Campus doesn't provide placements in the college. Industrial training internships are only provided, but we have to pay a fee for this internship, which is not worth it. They offer multiple courses in the college for diploma students, but for B.Tech, they provide only two courses: CSE and ECE.
Infrastructure: Campus don't allow mobiles in college, so they don't provide Wi-Fi for students. Computer labs are the worst because few computers work. I have seen the worst canteen in my life. Canteen provides the worst food, and it is not hygienic. No sports are provided.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They may not be the best qualified, but they are excellent in teaching. Teaching quality is good. My percentage is 6.2. Best lecturer is my department HOD, B. Balaraju. I think he is the best lecturer in the entire college, and the principal is the worst.
Other: No events or fests are provided in this college, and no sports.

Dark reality of VMR Polytechnic.
Placements: No placements are available here. This college is a waste, as no companies visit for recruitment. There is little interest in placements, and companies are not interested in this college. Additionally, the companies that do come are not big ones.
Infrastructure: It is good, but not great. There is a lack of lectures, and teaching experience is very poor. No one recommends this college, and if we are considering management admission, I strongly advise against coming here. Experience will be very bad. Please do not come to VMR Polytechnic College.
Faculty: Faculty members are very rude to students, and they teach very poorly. They don’t even repeat topics. Only some teachers are good. Lavanya Madam is very rude to students and is considered one of the worst lecturers in our college. During exams, security is strict, and no one can cheat because the campus is surrounded by CCTV cameras.
Other: Our college HODs are not good, and they do not allow us to do industrial training in Hyderabad.

Very good teaching. Good facilities.
Placements: There are no placements given by college. Though we can try for jobs after Diploma course completion, like government jobs such as junior engineer, assistant engineer. 90% students got internships, like Microbit Technologies, industries, etc. Industrial visits also happen.
Infrastructure: Library is available with all kinds of textbooks, and labs are available with full equipment. Hostel environment is good, mess and canteen food are average. Sports and games are also available. It is surrounded by trees, and the environment is good. Outing happens on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful. The way of teaching and giving notes is easy to prepare for exams and understand. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready without any doubt. Semester exams are moderately difficult but can be easily passed.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the electronic core field. With this course, we can get to know how electronic devices work and how signals are converted and transferred. Every year, a fest is organized. Scholarships are also available.
