B.Sc. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025

A great college with perfect facilities, teachers and great for sports and events.
Placements: Around 40 per cent of students were placed in a placement course, but it was an independent decision from the students if they wanted to sit for the placement. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, the average package was 3.3 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.0 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS and Accenture. Only 2 to 3 students got internships at TCS. The top roles were Web designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities were nice as they had a canteen which served great quality food at affordable prices. A proper number of washrooms, a proper library, a Gymkhana, the IT labs were well maintained, and a great medical facility too. They also had sports-related coaches and trainers for specific sports, which was awesome.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They taught with real-life examples and cases. The curriculum was relevant, which made every student industry-ready in all aspects. The exams in the semesters were difficult, but every student passed with an 8.5 CGPA due to the great support from the fellow teachers of respective subjects.
Other: I chose B.Sc. IT as it's the future and opens multiple pathways for a career. The only thing that could be better is more examples of real-life companies in the curriculum. Fest and events are iconic in Wilson as they bring a wide range of celebrities and artists that are relevant and have brought some change in our society.

Bachelor in Mass Media - Batch of 2023

Lovely faculty can do better for sure, average placements and infrastructure are being upgraded.
Placements: The students who got above 85% were on the second and third lists. The lowest package offered by our course is Rs. 30,000 and the highest is up to 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Tata which I know of. Up to 80% of talented students got internships from our course who are active and participative and have an amazing profile. Top roles offered in our course are filmmakers, journalists, advertisement, etc.
Infrastructure: We have amazing Wi-Fi in our B.M.M. department. Our labs have Windows 7 and 10 which is helpful for students for assignments and we get access to paid apps which is wonderful for students. Classrooms always have sun which feels good in winter but not so good in summer. Our library is the best. Easy access to books whenever you can take books home for up to 2 weeks at least which is appreciated as an adult and has a life reduce your reading experience unlike as teens so 2 weeks for a 100 page book is wonderful.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. We even have teachers who understand our struggle and stone down wherever necessary. The curriculum is it is so vast, it talks about anything and everything that helps us in the real world but can be draining when you are studying the night before the exams. If you are regularly attending and doing your work on time, coming from an A-grade student who doesn't study, you can easily ace your exams on lecture knowledge. 88% of students usually pass the first exam and not the back or ATKT.
Other: Firstly, I chose this course because I'm an extrovert. They have not only shaped me from an educational perspective but also how to live life as an adult. The only thing I would ask to improve in our course is that the project be more creative. We have great events, especially our mass media event Polaris, you can look it up on the internet. It is a last always. Your campus life can never be boring. If you hang out in the college enough you can make amazing friends who would be a part of your life even after college.

Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Mass Communication (B.A.M.M.C.) - Batch of 2027
3.8

Best campus, best faculty, and best events.
Placements: Almost 80% of students are placed by our department. Companies like Series and Red Chilli Productions have tied up with our college. Also, media groups like Times Applaud have pitched for our college. Our college also provides internships during the summer vacation and after graduation.
Infrastructure: We are provided with the best faculty members who provides various facilities like the media lab, computer lab, and also free Wi-Fi facility. We have amazing subjects like photography, advertising, and journalism.
Faculty: Almost every teacher in our department has a Ph.D. and with the best teaching techniques, which makes students understand the subject more easily. There are times when our lectures are held outside classrooms, which helps students understand the environment they are living in.
Other: We also have many events in our college, like our media fests.

Bachelor of Finance Management (BFM) - Batch of 2027

Infrastructure and other facilities are top-notch. A perfect bunch of experience with learning.
Placements: 5% of students out of 20 got placed in my course as it's a new course in Wilson. We are the 2nd batch of BFM. TCS is one of the top recruiting companies for BFM. As my course doesn't really have a TY it's not possible for me to give numbers for the students who got internships. Financial analysis is one of the top roles offered by my course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, Wi-Fi, and a library are available for our course. I am not an outstation student so I don't live in a hostel but some of my friends do and they do not complain about it much. The food is nice and they also have a lot of sports and games available for students leisure.
Faculty: Staffs are helpful. The course curriculum is really short, it can be better, but the syllabus and curriculum need a lot of improvement to make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite good for me. I scored a 10 CGPA and the passing percentage is around 90%.

A good college life with happening things and upskilling yourself, it's perfect.
Placements: I'm still in my first year so can't say as of personal experience but some of my seniors got placed in really good companies like JP Morgan and they do offer great internships. For first-year students, they have conducted many sessions to upskill their knowledge.
Infrastructure: We have a canteen, library, medical room, games room, and gym available. The food is alright. Classrooms and infrastructure are nice. There is no AC though. There are many halls and overall Wilson is a heritage building so the interior and aesthetic are very vintage and pretty.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and the syllabus is also manageable. I'm still in my first semester so can't say about passing but faculty members help students and the quality of education is good. There are some visiting faculty members too as experts in some subjects.
Other: Fest is so fun and brings the true colors of college as Ole the cultural fest and Hope a BMS charity fest is conducted. They have many sessions going on to upskill every week and also provide free therapy and 1-1 counseling once a week as a session prioritizing mental health.

Beautiful and ancient Wilson College.
Placements: Placement in our college is given to students who have proper previous experience. They give priority to students who have done internships or jobs before. The basic salary is 1 LPA-2LPA. Tops recruiting companies are Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: Looking at infrastructure of our college it's 10/10. College gives proper old-school vibes with ancient buildings and infrastructure. College has a very beautiful library with thousands of books. Classrooms are also of ancient times and have Wi-Fi available. College has hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly, especially my department teachers are very friendly with students. During our times, our course curriculum was dependent on Mumbai University but the college has now become autonomous and has its own rules. Semester exams are a little tough.
