Beautiful and ancient Wilson College.

Placements: Placement in our college is given to students who have proper previous experience. They give priority to students who have done internships or jobs before. The basic salary is 1 LPA-2LPA. Tops recruiting companies are Wipro, Accenture, Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: Looking at infrastructure of our college it's 10/10. College gives proper old-school vibes with ancient buildings and infrastructure. College has a very beautiful library with thousands of books. Classrooms are also of ancient times and have Wi-Fi available. College has hostel facility.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are friendly, especially my department teachers are very friendly with students. During our times, our course curriculum was dependent on Mumbai University but the college has now become autonomous and has its own rules. Semester exams are a little tough.

Review of Wilson College.

Placements: The placements mostly revolve around internships while the students are studying, but after graduation, students mostly look out for better options on their own since there are engaged in the creative field. While the college does provide good options, everyone has already started doing something or the other.

Infrastructure: The library is great, and the food is good. Everything related to the environment is good. The students involved in classrooms have a great experience that involves proper guidance from the teachers as well as seniors. The teachers are ready to go extra mile for us.

Faculty: The teachers are very supportive, and the curriculum is made up according to the guidelines of Mumbai University. The exams are not difficult, but it varies with subjects. The teachers are strict and supportive as well.

Other: The connectivity even in online mode is great.

I met some of the best people of my life, and I will always be grateful to the teachers.

Placements: The college has a placement cell. One can go there and talk to faculty members and submit their resume. They'll contact the students if there is an internship opportunity present. Teachers always push students to get internships during the course, and this year, especially during covid, they created WhatsApp groups to inform students about recruitments by different institutions.

Infrastructure: The college has a very unique and beautiful infrastructure. You can't get enough of the beauty. The library has a great and rare collection of books. We have a canteen, sports ground, medical facilities, labs, and AV rooms. But the quality of food in the hostel is not so good.

Faculty: The college faculty members are very experienced and qualified. They create a safe space for their students. They are always there if you need any help. The curriculum is very apt. Teachers prepare you for exams, and exams are not so difficult if you prepare well. The pass percentage is high.

Our college provides a good canteen and good teachers.

Placements: I have no idea about placements because I am in the first year. Top recruiting companies like Times Now, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, ACC, Accenture, Kotak Securities and Balaji visit our college for placements. Our college does not provide an internship for B.A students. Our college tries to provide an internship for scholar students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The ambience of the college is also good. Classrooms aren't well-maintained in the sense that the wall putty comes out easily. Wi-Fi facility is average. The library is very good. Washrooms are not well-maintained. Food served to the students is good, but sports facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are kind, helpful and very friendly with students. They are knowledgeable. But some students find the teachers to be rude with students and should learn to respect students. They delay the things by half an hour or so.

Other: Fest organised at our college is good. The college conducts many inter-college festivals. Ole is the major festival of our college, which includes competitions like literary arts, performing arts, sports, etc. Opportunities are available for students to volunteer for festivals. Other course specific festivals are Polaris for B.M.M, etc. Students can represent their colleges in other colleges also. MUN and Youth Parliament fests are conducted once in a year.

I've had the best years of my life in college.

Placements: Our course was not for corporate jobs and stuff like that so no, we did not have any placement system for the course I was studying in. Though me and all my classmates have managed to get jobs on our own and are currently doing extremely well with great jobs as lawyers, psychologists, archaeologists so on and so forth, all because of the amazing and very effective learning experience we've had at Wilson College over the years.

Infrastructure: Everything was great. We had great infrastructure and all the necessary facilities for us to be able to do our best, both academically as well as culturally. The canteen was one of the best ones when it comes to college canteens across Mumbai. It's been a blissful experience.

Faculty: I've never in my life learned from such efficient teachers. They were extremely helpful, greatly encouraging and they always managed to inspire us. They were highly qualified and were very patient in helping us shape our best way possible for the world out there.

Other: Why I chose the course was because I wanted to be a History major and pursue archaeology later on in life which I am doing right now. I was totally satisfied with everything my course offered and wish to change nothing at all. We've had the best festivals, we still do and we were very much a part of everything the college offered that included scholarships, extra curricular activities, participation in the fests, etc.

Satisfied with the faculty, proud that I could spent my 3 years of life in this college.

Placements: There are many short term courses associated with internships and placements. The professors itself are very helpful in helping us find a job. The college itself informs the students about job fairs through notice boards. So Wilson college is concerned about student's future as well.

Infrastructure: The college has a very ancient building but so beautiful and spacious. College has conserved the ancient beauty to a very great extent. They have added new buildings in the campus itself. Though it has an ancient building it has all the modern technology for the running of college. In my opinion, college's infrastructure is commendable.

Faculty: I graduated from that college with the degree B.A. (history). As far as I'm experienced with my department, I could say my department is one of the coolest of all. The professors of my department (history) are very caring and supportive. We could approach them anytime. They were open for every needs of us. And regarding the course, the faculty make sure that their attention is reaching to each and every student of the class. They spent extra time with us to solve our doubts and questions. The faculty was awesome and they made the course curriculum simpler to the students because of their efforts.

Other: When I talk about my college as a whole there were lot of fests taking rounds during an year. College has a fest known as OLu00c9, which is for the whole college. Other than that various departments have their on fests which takes the college crowd to a festival mood. When we talk about campus surroundings, in our campus there is a marble statue which is very beautiful, and also the quadrangle outside canteen is the major place for the crowd to hangout. College is fun filled in Wilson's.

This is a great college, and I love the campus.

Placements: I have not yet completed my degree college, so I don't know anything about placements, but my seniors told me that many well-reputed companies came to the college for last year students. They even got good salaries packages, and the companies were good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Wilson College is good, and it is a heritage building, which is a minimum of 100-years old. The classrooms, library, and corridors are made up of stones, and floors of wooden. The college campus is good, and even to hang around in your free time. The canteen is good and for fun.

Faculty: The teachers of Wilson College, Chowpatty are good in teaching as well as in nature. The teachers are helpful for every student while practicals, and if you are science students, they help you in projects and all while you are in BA. The teachers even help the students after college timing, if they have some doubts.

The best faculty, infrastructure, facilities are provided.

Placements: I don’t know about the placements and the companies which come to our college. But our college surely does arrange motivational sessions by inspiring people who help students to be on the right path towards their career.

Infrastructure: Wilson College has recently installed Wi-Fi connectivity in the common rooms. The labs are fully equipped. The classrooms are good and huge so that the classrooms don't become crowdy. The library is the best part of Wilson College as it is huge and has almost every book from the ancient times to the recent time. There is a psychologist on the campus to help students with their queries and problems. The gymkhana is the best thing in the college. It has all the games and provides students to play on the campus itself.

Faculty: Wilson College surely has the best faculty. They have a lot of experience in their personal as well as professional life. Professors are friendly with the students who are motivating and encouraging for the students.Teachers plan industrial visits and use projectors to help students.

Other: Overall Wilson College has everything which a student requires to learn better and become the best. My experience with this college as of now has been the best. I am basically very happy with the teaching of the faculty and the regular discussions arranged by the college for the betterment of students.
