Review of Women`s Polytechnic College, Kolkata.
Placements: Due to covid 19, our batch had online campusing. Many different companies from different places in India offered apprenticeship training after a telephonic interview. The stipend would be approximately Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month. Many companies also offered accommodation and a canteen.
Infrastructure: Our college has two buildings, in which one is a new building, and another is an old building. There are many lab rooms for allotted subjects. There is a library, a canteen, two seminar halls and many classrooms. The college has its own hostel, but the hostel is approximately 10 km away. The hostel is very reasonable and provides good accommodation and meals. The hostel is offered to only students from a far distance.
Faculty: To score in exams, students have to study before the exams hard. Otherwise, there are no hard lessons. Exams take place in a semester system. There are two internal exams, one internal exam for lab subjects and one external exam for lab subjects. Semester exams take place for each subject in a semester. The course consists of a total of 6 semesters.
Other: Nowadays, the world is computer-based, so doing a diploma course in computer science and technology engineering is always beneficial. The college has four branches named computer science and technology, electronics and telecommunications, architecture and MOPM. Every year freshers, farewell, fest, Vishwakarma Puja, teachers day, independence day and many others are celebrated.

Good college over-all just needs a few improvements.
Placements: Actually the placements are not that good for computer Science as long as I know as I am a student of computer Science in that college but the placements for architecture and other streams are quite good as long as I remember that the information I collected from other students.
Infrastructure: There is no food available in our canteen. And there is also no Wi-Fi specialty for students who need, there are many classrooms but actually their quite big and have quite space for at least 50 to 60 students or above but unfortunate they are not that clean. Overall it's good and pretty manageable .
Faculty: The computer Science department is honesty the best department in our college because of our faculty the teachers and obviously our age OD mam they are very helpful and very friendly to ask pretty much anything related to our subjects. The only problem is the god in our exams are a bit tough. But it is pretty manageable. Overall it's good.
Other: Our batch is may be the best batch of CST.

Review of Women`s Polytechnic College, Kolkata.
Placements: Everybody got a chance to participate in campus placements. The highest package offered is 25,000 per month, the average salary is 10,000 per month, and the lowest salary is 9,000 per month. L&T, LTI, Capgemini, etc., are the top recruiters. 50% of students got internships from my course. The top roles offered are manager, assistant etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi for office work mainly. We have computer labs, but they need to be renovated. We have a shortage of classrooms. We have a library, where we can collect and study books. But we need new books. The hostel is far from college. The food quality is average. Sometimes, we have to deal with food shortages. We don't have a playground.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, and some are not. Some teachers are very rude to us. The teaching quality is up to the mark. This course curriculum is relevant. But it's not enough to make students industry-ready. Semester examinations are quite different. The pass percentage is 40%.
