Q:   What is the hostel fees at Xavier Institute of Communications?
A: 

 According to a female student in the college: 

The hostel fees is 36,000 paid in two parts shared in sharing rooms of three. Facilities like AC weren't available for them  but other facilities were provided with good quality. The food maybe not upto great expectations and great taste but it's hygienic with extra expenses ranging from 2000-4000 generally

The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) conducts the XIC Entrance Test (XET) to offer admissions to eligible candidates in mass communication courses available at the institute.

The online exam consists of two parts 

  • First is objective
  • And the second is subjective 
  • The test is total of 2 hours
  • 1 hours for objective and 1 hours for subjective .
  • After this online paper they conduct the personal interview.
  • Based on your performance they make sure you are eligible for the admission or not.

A: 
The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) in Mumbai determines cut off marks for its PG Diploma course based on the OET (Online Entrance Test). The OET has a maximum score of 150 marks and takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. 
 
Students must have at least 45% marks in PCM in their class 12th-grade examination from an approved board. The qualifying mark to appear for the entrance test is 65% marks at the class XII Board examinations for candidates belonging to the General Category. 
 
The XIC OET 2023 exam pattern is: 
 
  • Maximum marks: 150
  • Duration of exam: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Sections in paper: 2 (Objective and Subjective)

The fees structure is flexible as one can pay the amount in Installments in three months, also the eligible student gets up to 90% scholarship overall it's good most important the campus placement increases every year and deserving students are selected for top companies

Bank loans are available to students for educational purposes. Scholarship is offered to students who performed very well in the previous examination. Seats are also reserved for the female students. Fee concession is also given to students belonging from economically weaker sections, deense personnel, ex serviceman and freedom fighters.
