Decent Infrastructure and Facilities, but Faculty and Placements Need Improvement at XIME Chennai.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students were placed. Salary Packages: The highest: 10-12 LPA Average: 6-7 LPA The lowest: 3.5-4 LPA Top Recruiters: Deloitte, Infosys, HCL, KPMG, and TCS. Internships: Around 90% of students secured internships in companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and start-ups. Top Roles: Business Analyst, HR Associate, Marketing Executive, and Management Trainee. While placements are decent, they lean towards IT and consultancy roles.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors. The library is well-stocked with relevant resources, and Wi-Fi is available but can be slow at times. Labs and other facilities meet basic requirements. Hostel: Hostel rooms are clean and adequately maintained. The quality of food in the mess is average, with limited variety. The canteen offers better options but at an additional cost. Other Facilities: Medical assistance is available but limited. Sports and recreational facilities are decent, though more focus on outdoor games would improve the experience.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and qualified but not always approachable or supportive. Teaching quality could be more interactive and engaging. Curriculum: The curriculum is relevant and covers important topics; however, it lacks adequate industry-aligned training and certification to make students fully job-ready. Exams: Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a focus on theory. The pass percentage is generally high, as long as students put in consistent effort.

Other: Why I Chose This Course: I opted for an MBA to gain managerial skills, explore networking opportunities, and enhance my career prospects in the business and management domain. XIME Chennai offered a balanced curriculum and industry exposure, which seemed promising during my selection process. Best Things About the Course: The curriculum is well-structured and covers diverse topics in management. Industry interactions and guest lectures provide practical insights. The program encourages teamwork and critical thinking through case studies and projects. Things to Improve: Placement opportunities, particularly for niche roles, could be better. Faculty involvement in mentoring and support needs enhancement. More industry-aligned certification and workshops should be included. Campus Life: Events and Fests: The college hosts annual cultural and management fests, which are vibrant and engaging. Campus Crowd: The student diversity is good, with people from various backgrounds, encouraging networking and peer learning. Connectivity: Being located in Chennai, the campus has decent connectivity to major parts of the city. However, some improvements in public transport links would help. Campus Surroundings: The campus is situated in a quiet and green area, creating a peaceful study environment. Scholarships: Limited scholarship options are available. Expanding these would make the course more accessible. Extracurricular Activities: Clubs and committees are active, providing opportunities for skill enhancement beyond academics. However, more focus on sports and recreational activities would be beneficial.

A decent B school in Tamilnadu.

Placements: EY and several other companies visit the campus each year. The highest package was offered by the Federal Bank. Apart from that, Mphasis and other companies like Obo Batterman and Hyundai also come to the campus each year. A number of students get internships at the nearby companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice; it is in an industrial area with lots of companies nearby. Hostels are good, with two people in each room. Each room is fully air conditioned and gym facilities are also available on campus, including a basketball court and a common room for indoor games .

Faculty: Harvard case studies are discussed in the class and faculty members are very approachable and will help you in the best possible way. Semester exams include midterm and endterm, and 3 exams can also be held in one day. The curriculum is industry-relevant.

Best college for placements. The faculties are knowledgeable & experienced.

Placements: 98% of students are placed, with the highest package this year being 14LPA, an average package of 8.5LPA, and the lowest at 7LPA. EY, KPMG, Adani, Hyundai, and Infosys are some of the top recruiting companies. All students got summer internships from the college in various companies like EY, KPMG, and Hyundai. The roles offered in the course are Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, and Operation.

Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary facilities like Wi-Fi, gym, air conditioning, parking, CCTV cameras, canteen, computer lab, library, etc. The quality of the facilities is good, especially the food which is better than other colleges. All sports equipment like basketball, cricket kits, badminton, etc., are available too.

Faculty: The professors are quite knowledgeable and have industry experience. The teaching quality is high and rich. Yes, the PGDM course is relevant for individuals to become industry professionals. It helps kickstart the corporate journey. The difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is 4.5 CGPA.

Other: I choose this course because I want to enter the corporate world. Opportunities for freshers could be improved. There are many events organized in the college. Connectivity is average. Scholarships are available and will be rewarded based on certain criteria.

Satisfied with return on investment and the placement.

Placements: The college has a track record of 100% placement. The highest package offered was 14 LPA. The minimum package offered was 6.5 LPA. The average package was 9.5 LPA. Top recruiters are EY, KPMG, Infosys, Federal Bank, Hyundai, and SBI Life. All students have to do a summer internship. Some of the companies are TVS Credit, WishKaro, NoBrokerhood, etc. The top roles are market analyst, HR manager, financial analyst, and digital marketing.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with AC and smart projectors. There is Wi-Fi available in every class. The library is well-maintained and has a lot of resources. The library is open until 8 pm. The hostel rooms are spacious, and each room has an AC. The food is good, as they serve a combination of South and North dishes. There are regular sports competitions.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and have industrial knowledge. They have long experience in the field of teaching. The course curriculum is relevant as they teach all specialization subjects in the first year. They also discuss Harvard case studies in each subject. Our course focuses on practical knowledge. There are two exams in every semester: midterm (25% weightage) and endterm (40% weightage). The rest, 5%, is for attendance, 10% is for a quiz, and 20% is for class participation. The student has to score above a 4.8 CGPA.

Other: This college is located in an industrial area, which makes students industry-ready. Live projects in the first year are the best way for students to gain company exposure. There is a management festival organized annually called Prometheus. Students from 10–15 colleges participate in that event.

Placements: Top companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Adani have come for recruiting students. The average package is about 8 LPA in the year 2022. All the students of batch 2022 were given internship opportunities in companies like Delhi TVS, Emphasis, Hyundai, etc.

Infrastructure: Well-equipped library, Smart classrooms, 24/7 Wi-Fi connections inside campus. Hostel rooms are of 2 sharing, with AC and Wi-Fi connection. Equipped with indoor and outdoor game facilities. The mess food is okay and there is a small canteen present inside the campus.

Faculty: The professors here have high industrial experience, offering invaluable practical insights that goes beyond textbooks.
