Quite often students use their own contacts for internship. That way some students got into KPMG, Deloitte, Panasonic and Tata Motors.
The stipend varied. HDFC gave Rs.15,000, while some others gave Rs.5,000. However, a few companies did not provide any stipend at all.
You have to understand that during internship it is the experience you get that matters, and hence some students are willing to work without stipend.

Hi,
There is still a chance that you may get in. Did you try through CAP Rounds 2 & 3? Try calling 022 6522 1909 for more details. XIMR usually has a 95 percentile cut-off, but there is a slight chance that it could come down.

Hi again buddy,
The fees for one year is around Rs.2.40 - Rs.2.50 lakhs (there are some slight changes sometimes due to university rules). So the fees for two years will be around Rs.4.80 to Rs.5 lakhs.

Hi,
During the first year of your college, which includes your first and second semesters, you will have lectures for 6 days. During the second year - for your thirds semester, the lectures will be there for six days during some weeks and for five days during some weeks; this is because the number of days will depend on your lectures. During the fourth semester, you will have lectures for three or four days during a week.

Hi Akshay,
I need to know your percentile before commenting on your chances. Please tell me that and I'll let you know.

CET Open Other than Mumbai Universty has 90% percentile cutoff and CET open MU cutoff is 97 Percentile. Chances are low at your case, though You should wait for final rounds.

Hi Kishan,
At 94.1, you have a good enough chance. XIMR usually closes at around 95 percentile. But there is still a chance for you.
