The Xavier Institute of Management and Research (XIMR) MBA is quite a demanding programme because of the rigidity of its academic course structure and competitive environment. Its participants should be well conversant with the principles of management and have the ability to carry out effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Admission here is strictly merit-based with good performance in entrance exams like XAT or CAT. This is followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds. Once admitted, the students do face a rigorous course load of assignments, case studies, as well as internships that they have to work under. However, the teaching staff and the collaborative peer milieu help the students overcome challenges and are therefore well positioned for their careers.
