Excellent Experience at AMU .
Placements: AMU M.Sc. Polymer Science: 70% placements; highest package is INR 9 LPA; lowest package is INR 3 LPA; average is INR 5 LPA. Top recruiters: Reliance Industries, DuPont, etc. 55 percent of students got internships at companies like BASF and Dow. Roles: polymer engineer, research scientist, quality control analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: As the president of Aligarh, I have not allotted a hall, but from what I have heard from other students, the hall needs some improvements. The food quality is average, and the canteen is good overall. The Wi-Fi is fast throughout the campus, the classrooms are very good, the library is very helpful, the medical facility is below average, and the sports facility has good grounds and courts.
Faculty: The faculty of engineering and technology has great teachers in the department who are very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant. It definitely makes it industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage in each subject varies.
