AEEE 2016 Syllabus and Pattern
The syllabus and pattern for Amrita Entrance Examination- Engineering (AEEE) 2016 is same as last year with only a few changes in the exam pattern. Aspirants seeking admission to various engineering programmes offered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham can fill up the online application form for AEEE 2016 before March 19, 2016, which is the last date to issue OMR applications. Students can also avail AEEE 2016 application forms from the branches of Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank, located in various cities across India. AEEE 2016 exam will be held in two parts- Online and Offline. While, the online exam (Computer Based Test) will be conducted on April 17, 18, and 19, 2016, the offline exam will be held on April 23, 2016.

The candidates clearing the exam will be offered courses in either of the three campuses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham i.e. Amrita School of Engineering Bangalore, Amrita School of Engineering Kollam, and Amrita School of Engineering Coimbatore. Admissions to four year B. Tech progammes in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is based on the ranks in the entrance examination. Candidates appearing for the exam are eligible to apply for AEEE 2016 only if they fulfill necessary requirements like age and percentile in class 12th. AEEE 2016 Exam Pattern
- Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam will be conducted in two modes- Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper & Pencil Based Test (P&P).
- Candidates should mention their preference in the application form and select any one option. If a student selects both options, their application will stand cancelled.
- The duration for AEEE 2016 exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- The question paper for AEEE will contain 100 questions for 300 marks. The Mathematics section will carry 40 questions, while Physics and Chemistry will have 30 questions each.
- For every right answer, candidates will be given 3 marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted.
