The college has good faculty members, infrastructure, and decent placements.
Placements: A good percentage of students are being placed or receiving internship offers, like 60-80% of people who opted for placements are getting good offers, and it’s the highest compared to any other course on campus. Top recruiters include Palo Alto, Deloitte, SAP, Amazon, Meesho, etc. Most of them offer SDE roles in their firms, and the packages start near 6 LPA and go up to 25-30 LPA and even more through off-campus placements. Almost the same companies mentioned are giving internships and eventually a permanent offer. Research students are more likely to get internships from the college side.
Infrastructure: Well-maintained classrooms with projectors, non-AC, power sockets, multiple Wi-Fi, a good central library with digital contents, and a dedicated reading room. There are multiple computer and other labs, well maintained, air-conditioned, and premium restrooms (not all but a few). Good hostel (lakeside), international hostel for foreign students, pure veg mess, and canteen with decent food. Great medical facilities with a nearby campus clinic (with urgent medicine and ambulance facilities) and a medical college. There is a sports complex that consists of almost all sports, a swimming pool, several badminton courts inside campus, etc.
Faculty: Good enough teachers, more experienced faculty members from the 2nd year, but the teachers are helpful and can be contacted at any moment for guidance. Most of the teachers from semester 1 itself are Ph.D. scholars, postgraduates, etc., and are able to handle the subject in a professional way. Teaching quality and content are good and relevant, but we have to put in more effort to beat the top 1% and become industry-ready. Semester exams have medium to high difficulty, I would say, compared to most of the state colleges because they try to align the syllabus similar to NIT or IIT.
Other: In our campus as well as in the country, CSE has the most options and relevancy, and my interest also lies with software development. I would say the campus is best for this course. I would recommend more Gen Z courses. One thing I am sad about with this college is that it has only a few fests, which include Vidyut (national level). It has good connectivity, like a nearby bus station and railway station within a 10 km radius. Campus surroundings are good, lush green, with a well-maintained garden, park, footpath, etc. This college offers scholarships through AEEE as well as JEE Main scores, and scholarships are slab-based.

Academic excellence and facilities, mediocre placements, and hardcore campus life.
Placements: At CSE in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri, the placements are mediocre. Approximately 60-65 percent of the students are placed, primarily by mass recruiters. The highest package is approximately 18 LPA-20 LPA ( very few students ), the average package is 5 LPA-6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA-3.6 LPA. TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, and HCL are major recruiting firms. Approximately 35-40 percent of students receive internships, mostly off-campus. Functional types of jobs provided include Software Engineer, System Engineer, Data Analytics, and QA, with few competitive but product company roles.
Infrastructure: The campus facilities are excellent and include adequately equipped CSE laboratories, strong internet access on Wi-Fi, neat classes, and a central library with a lot of stock. Facilities of the hostel are very strict yet good, with clean rooms and heavy security. Mess food is mediocre and monotonous, and there are medical and bare-bones sports amenities on campus.
Faculty: The quality of the faculty is mixed, as there are both wise and research-driven professors, and those who use slides primarily. The curriculum is robust in learning basics, but not entirely industry-fit, and thus, students have to acquire skills on their own. Semester exams are medium-level and conceptual in nature, and the pass rate of such exams is about 85-90 percent.

It is good and infrastructure is getting changed every year for the better. No faculty are good .
Placements: The average package of our college is 10 LPA. We will get companies like Google, Amazon, Good Day, etc. We are getting internship in 3rd or 4th year, 1st sem. Almost 90 percent of the students are getting placed and many are getting internships. The lowest package is around 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: They will provide Wi-Fi in hostel and college food is okay but not really good. They will encourage sports students. Medical facilities are there but not good quality of food is not good but the taste is okay. Library is okay, not as good looking as other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they have good knowledge Amrita curriculum is very good. Semester exams are not so tough, the pass percentage is 98 percent. They will make industry ready teachers who are very supportive, and they have good knowledge, they will help us.
Other: I chose CSE because it has a high coop in industry and fest are very rare.

On Placements
Q:   Does Amrita School of Engineering offer better placements than TKM Institute of Managementr?
A:

Yes, Amrita School of Engineering offers better placements than TKM.TKM is a smaller state institution, while Amrita University is a highly regarded private university. Because of this, recruiters are more likely to recognize Amrita's brand.
Amrita benefits from its location as well. Being situated in Bengaluru, a major IT and tech hub, it is likely to draw in more top technology companies for campus hiring. It's harder to draw businesses to TKM because of its remote location in Kollam, Kerala.
Amrita Engineering appears to have higher the highest salary figures (up to Rs 40-45 LPA) than TKM Management (about Rs 20 LPA).
As a more recent institution, TKM will have a smaller alumni base than Amrita, but Amrita's vast alumni network aids in placements.

It is a university that believes in education for life and education for living.
Placements: As a student from Amrita, I will definitely recommend joining it as most of the learning is interesting and practical. Most of the members from our course, i.e., around 97 percent of students get placed every year. Major recruiting companies are Infosys, Nvidia, TCS, and ISRO. Many small enterprises and some startup companies related to data science and AI hire students. As per the recent placements, the highest package offered is 58 LPA, and the lowest package ranges from 6-8 LPA. This is as per the recent batch.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities, it's good. There is no AC in any classroom. We can only have AC in labs, so it is better not to keep such thoughts. Hostels are good, and they are cool as the climate is mostly humid and cool here. The best quality of food is served. If students are from the state of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana, then it is hard for them to adapt to it. Medical facilities are extraordinarily good, as we can find a hospital on our own campus with all the equipment. Sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very interactive. They have a good knowledge that can make us think everything is easy, and helps to develop new projects. They help to publish some sort of affiliated conferences and journal papers on the best topics we can. Exams are a bit tough. The pass percentage is about 37 percent, I think. We can easily clear it by listening to classes without any deviation. The course curriculum is good, but it is not sufficient for us to have industry knowledge. So we must get extra things from outside to get the best.
Other: Our college organises some festivals, and fests every time. A major fest is Viduty, and it is good, as we will enjoy it.

It is a good college with good teachers, good placements, and a good library.
Placements: Our college has decent placements. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, and the average package is 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Microsoft, and Intel. The percentage of students who got internships is 70% in companies like Wipro, nd Microsoft, etc. Top roles are offered in the computer science and engineering course.
Infrastructure: Our college has good Wi-Fi, labs, and a library. The hostel food is a bit bad because it's vegetarian. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good. Food available in the canteen is Idli, Dosa, Pasta, Sambaar, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is updated. Semester exams are okay. The pass percentage is very high. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, so they give us an idea of where we stand compared to other students.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: 55 percent were placed as of now, and interviews are still going on. The highest package is 24 LPA (Arista Networks/SAP Labs), and the lowest is 5 LPA. Many got internship opportunities, and the recruiters included Amazon, ISRO, Visa, SAP Labs, Synopsys, Honeywell, Caterpillar, Alphaweave, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but still needs improvements. The hostel is fine, but sometimes the mess food is a big headache because when some local students go home during holidays, the mess food is the worst at night. However, during breakfast and lunch, it’s good for the amount they charge per year.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Teachers are highly qualified. However, they don't provide exactly what the industry wants from us, so we need to externally learn all those things. The odd semesters are very tough. The cutoff as of now is strictly 40 (overall, including internal and external).
Other: Coming to events, there aren't many events conducted, but they are good for spending time.

Disciplined campus life and real technical exposure.
Placements: 85 to 90 percent of the students in my course are placed, especially in CSE and associated fields. The highest package exceeded 40 to 50 LPA for a few top performers, with the average being roughly around 7 to 8 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Cisco, and AMD came to our campus.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure in Amrita is excellent and well maintained. The classrooms are clean, Wi-Fi is available across most areas, and the labs are well equipped for all major branches. The library is large, quiet, and has good digital resources. Overall its good.
Faculty: The curriculum is updated regularly and is designed to give them good exposure to both theoretical knowledge and industry related skills. The teaching quality is structured and disciplined, which helps students stay consistent in their studies. The semester exams are moderately difficult and require regular preparation.

This was not a bad decision because I got placed in the scholarship slab.
Placements: Campus tries to provide everyone with placements from companies like NVIDIA, Infosys, Innspark, ISRO, etc. There's a placement cell just for this. Currently no one from this course has graduated yet, as the first batch is in their third year right now. This course offers cool professional electives and can land you in great roles in companies if you have a good CGPA and resume.
Infrastructure: Facilities in college are great, with a digital library and many computerised labs. Hostel is also great, except for girls. Curfew is 5 pm, and girls aren't allowed to go outside, which is unbelievable (but girls go anyway). Hostel food is gonna be so boring for non-veg people, and the only facility for non-veg food inside the hostel is the canteen, but the service, and if you are unlucky, the food can also be.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable within their respective fields. Course curriculum is relevant to every branch of engineering as robotics and AI are an interdisciplinary course, covering mechanics, electrical, electronics, and AI. Semester exams are based on Bloom's taxonomy level, with continuing questions of easy to moderate level and very few high-level questions, evaluating the understanding of a particular subject for each student. Pass percentage of students on a subject depends on the overall performance of students who have the subject in a certain semester. This is called relative grading, so if many people perform well, the minimum pass percentage goes up.
