COMEDK UGET 2015: Exam day checklist
COMEDK UGET is conducted every year by COMEDK for students aspiring to secure admissions to the undergraduate (UG) Engineering, Medical and Dental courses offered by the various institutes affiliated to the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).
COMEDK UGET determines the merit of the test takers in a fair, effective, non-exploitative and transparent testing procedure and grants admission to the best performers. Presently, a total number of 150 Engineering colleges, 14 Medical colleges and 25 Dental colleges are affiliated to COMEDK which altogether make available a whopping 20, 000 seats in various undergraduate courses offered by them.
COMEDK UGET 2015 is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2015. The application process was concluded on April 15, 2015 and the respective Online Test Admission Tickets (TAT) of all the successful applicants were uploaded on the official website of COMEDK on April 24, 2015. All the students who are going to appear in the test must be preparing hard to crack it. So, Shiksha.com has prepared a combined list of important instructions and essential things to carry for all the test takers to help them save time and efforts and be well equipped with all the necessary things on the day of the exam. The checklist is as follows:
- 1.The candidates must report to their respective examination centres 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam to avoid last minute hassle.
- In RFA for unique Photo ID proof if Option 1 to 5 was declared, the candidates must carry all the below mentioned documents to the examination centre:
- A printout of Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT)
- The original, as well as a scanned copy of the selected or opted identity proof
- Two recent passport size colour photographs
3. In RFA for unique Photo ID proof if Option 6, i.e. “School / College Photo ID” was declared the candidates must carry all the below mentioned documents to the examination centre:
- A printout of Online Test Admission Ticket (TAT)
- The original, as well as a scanned copy of the selected or opted identity proof
- Scanned copy of the same (School / College Photo ID) attested by the principal of the institution last studied (2nd PUC/12th STD)
- Two recent passport size colour photographs
- A scanned copy of the application in physical format sent to COMEDK
4. The students must carry blue and black pens, as well as a pencil or two to the examination hall. It is advisable for the candidates that they carry extra pens to the exam hall.
5. The candidates must carry a water bottle to the examination hall.
The provisional answer keys will be uploaded on May 10; right after the exam is concluded. The students will be allowed to challenge the answer keys till May 13, 2015 and the final answer keys will be published on the official website of COMEDK on May 24. COMEDK will be releasing the test scores through its official website on May 30, 2015 while the online rank cards will be uploaded on June 6, 2015
