Get Admission in Vacant BTech seats at MDU Rohtak (Also Applicable for non-Jee Mains 2024 Student)
The Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, has released a notification of online applications for fresh admission to the vacant or leftover seats in the 1st year BTech courses at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) for the academic year 2024-2025.
Key Highlights About the BTech Application Process:
- Application Timeline: Online applications can be submitted from August 9 to September 15.
- Programs Offered: BTech Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Â
- Counseling Schedule for BTech Admission 2024:
- 1st Counseling: August 23
- 2nd Counseling (Open): August 23
- 3rd Counseling: August 28
- 4th Counseling: September 3
- 5th Counseling: September 10
- 6th Counseling: September 14
The first counseling session to fix available spots will happen on September 15.
- Admission Process for BTech at MDU Rohtak:Â
Admission will be done as per the existing rules and regulations of the HSTES and further details regarding the admission procedure are available on the university website.
Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak have average B.Tech placements. The University calls in many reputed companies like HCL, Adani, Free Launcer etc.
The minimum B.Tech package at MDU was 2.55 Lakh and median was 3.8 Lakh PA. There were 210 students which got placed.
MDU Rohtak offers 3-4 year BTech programmes to students in various specialisations and one of the specialisations is CSE. The eligibility criteria for admission to BTech CSE is Class 12 with a minimum of 45%-60 % aggregate. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Main, HSTES, HSTES LEET, and others.
Students can also download the JEE Main 2025 Mock Test and can see what sort of questions are asked in the eaxms and hence prepare beforehand for the next year exams.
