IIT Jodhpur invites applications for internships

The last date to submit applications for 20 internships, 10 each in administrative and technical departments, is September 24, 2021. 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur has invited applications from graduates/postgraduates/diploma holders for internships. A total of 20 internships, 10 each in administrative and technical departments, will be offered. The deadline for submission of applications is September 24, 2021. 

“The interns shall be given exposure to various administrative/technical departments/divisions/centres of various verticals within IIT Jodhpur and will be expected to learn and supplement the process of working of the institute through their knowledge in respective areas. Therefore, applications are invited from dynamic, tech-savvy and committed fresh graduates, postgraduates and diploma holders to serve as interns (administrative/technical) purely on temporary basis for a period not exceeding two years,” the institute said. 

All about internship 

The duration of the internship is from six months to two years and the age of the applicants should not be more than 27 years of age. 

The administrative interns will be required to do office work in relation to human resource, accounts, purchase, students affairs and academics. 

The technical interns will handle various day-to-day activities in various departments of the institute. They will be responsible for handling various equipment for day-to-day functioning of laboratories. 

Ranked 53rd by NIRF in 2020 for the Engineering category, IIT Jodhpur offers various courses at UG, PG and Doctoral levels across 11 departments. These courses are BTech, MTech, MSc, MTech-PhD Dual Degree, MSc-MTech Dual Degree, MBA and PhD.
