IIT Roorkee Opening and Closing Ranks for 2014 admissions

Established in the year 1847, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee was formerly known as the University of Roorkee and the Thomason College of Civil Engineering. The college is a Government University situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. It is the seventh IIT of the 21 IITs established in the country. There are 21 academic departments successfully running various disciplines such as Engineering, Management, Applied Sciences and Humanities & Social Sciences.
The campus is spread over an area of 365 acres comprising of one academic centre, three centres of excellence and supporting units and five academic service centres. The college offers 11 undergraduate programmes, three integrated MTech programmes, five integrated dual degree, three integrated MSc, 61 postgraduate and several doctoral programmes to its students.
Admission to the BTech, BArch and integrated MTech/ MSc programmes are offered on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. The exam was recently conducted on May 24, 2015 for admissions to various programmes for the academic session beginning this year. The result of the exam will be announced on June 18, 2015. The opening and closing ranks of 2015 will be more or less similar to the cut-off of last year. Shiksha.com has compiled the list of the opening and closing ranks of 2014 for various courses for students to get an idea of the cut-off of ranks which are yet to be announced this year.
