JEE Advanced 2026 Dates: IIT Roorkee has announced the complete schedule of JEE Adv exam 2026. The dates for all exam events has been updated in this page as per the schedule mentioned in the official website. Candidates must keep a check on IIT JEE Advanced 2026 date for registration, exam, answer key and result so as not to miss any event.

JEE Advanced 2026 exam was held on May 17, 2026. The IIT Roorkee released JEE Advanced response sheet 2026 on May 21 and the official answer key on May 25. JEE Advanced 2026 Result was declared on June 1 in the website jeeadv.ac.in.

Only those Indian candidates who obtained marks above the JEE Main 2026 cutoff percentile or secured a position among the top 2.5 lakh candidates were eligible to fill JEE Advanced application form 2026. The application process was completely online, and the form was available on the JEE Advanced website - jeeadv.ac.in

The Registration for foreign candidates started on April 6 whereas for Indian nationals, JEE Advanced 2026 application form was released on April 23. To register, Indian candidates had to use their JEE Main application number and date of birth whereas foreign nationals had to register afresh using the required details. The last date to apply was May 5 for both Indian and foreign nationals. The application form had to be filled before the JEE Advanced registration 2026 last date to appear in the exam.

The application process included JEE Advanced registration, filling the form, uploading documents and payment of fees. Candidates had to fill personal, academic, test city preference and contact details in the application form. Payment of application fees had to be done online only using credit/debit card or internet banking.

JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card Date

IIT Roorkee released admit cards on May 11. The link for JEE Advanced 2026 admit card download was available till May 17, 2026. Candidates had to download JEE Advanced 2026 admit card by login at jeeadv.ac.in. Details about exam date and time, address of test centre and exam day instructions for candidates will be mentioned in admit card. Candidates had to carry the printout of their admit card of JEE Advanced 2026 to exam centre along with one photo ID proof. Soft copies of admit card are not considered for entry inside exam centre/appearing in the exam. Candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam without admit card. Also, all the details printed on the admit card must be clearly visible.

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Date & Timing

The exam was held on May 17, 2026. The candidates had to report to the exam centre as per the time mentioned in their admit card for appearing in JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates who report to the exam centre beyond the reporting time are not allowed to appear in the exam.

Candidates were allowed to submit the grievances in answer key online till May 26, 2026 in case they were not satisfied with the answers in the official key. IIT Roorkee reviewed the grievances/challenges submitted by the candidates, and the final answer key was released on June 1, 2026 along with the results. JEE Advanced 2026 official question papers was released on May 17.

Other than the official JEE Advanced 2026 answer key, various coaching also released the answer key. Students can calculate their expected score using answer key released by the coaching institutes. However, marks obtained basis the official answer key will be more accurate and will give an idea of candidates qualification status/rank.

JEE Advanced 2026 Result Date

The JEE Advanced 2026 result was announced on June 1 in the official website. To check results, aspirants had to enter login to the official website using their registration number and password. A direct link was also provided in this page for candidates to check their scores. 

JEE Advanced 2026 result includes the qualifying status, total and subject-wise scores, and All India Rank (AIR) of candidates. All students must note that the JEE Advanced rank is based on their total score in papers 1 and 2. The IIT Roorkee also sent a message to the registered mobile number of every test taker regarding the declaration of the result. All candidates must note that they will not receive any hard copies of their rank cards. It can be downloaded from the official website only.

JEE Advanced Counselling Date 2026

The counselling for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) was organised by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) between June 2 to July 16. The seats were allotted to candidates in total five rounds. JoSAA is a common counselling conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs, CFTIs along with IITs.

The complete schedule of JoSAA counselling 2026 can be checked in the official portal. JEE Advanced 2026 counselling registration started on June 2 and the last date to register was June 11, 2026. To participate in the counselling, candidates had to register online at the website josaa.nic.in and fill their choices of college/course.

Both these payments are adjusted in the final fee payment of college.
