JEE Advanced 2015: How to stay relaxed during the exam and tackle the stress
A gateway for admissions to the IITs, JEE Advanced 2015 will be held on May 24, 2015. According to experts, to take the exam , one needs both speed and accuracy. Pragmatically, both are important. But this can be achieved only when one has practiced the test papers regularly putting time to it and if you remain unperturbed and cool-headed while taking the test. Even if you attempt 60% of the questions and do them correctly, you are up with good marks.
Experts suggest that aspirants should avoid referring to too many books at the last hour. They must stick to their own notes before exam or refer to the text books which you are already going through.
To take the JEE Advanced 2015 successfully, the most important thing is to stay relaxed during the exam and tackle the stress. Here are some ways in which you can do this.
- This cannot be done in a single day. It comes by the long continuous practice
- Imbibe a good exam temperament and believe in your preparation
- Rely on your self-confidence and be always positive in outlook
- Take a lot of mock tests putting yourself to a stricter time deadline to sharpen your competitive edge and regard the actual IITJEE on 24th May,2015 as one of the many successful mock tests that you took during preparation
- Don’t tax your mind too hard trying to preempt questions or thinking about the probability of failure or undesirable result, on the contrary, be ready to put in your best efforts thinking of positive outcome that you would make it with flying colors
- Don’t take the exam as a burden on your head, rather be high on spirit, take it as a challenge to put up the best showing to prove your merit and just enjoy writing your test on that day. Don’t forget that it is relative performance which will count
- Never confuse yourself with last minute discussions concerning the exam to invite jitters that could unnecessarily affect your mental edifice, rather take it easy and remain focused to positive thoughts
- Try to scan the question paper at one go and attempt those questions which you are confident of to gain more confidence and insight to deal with the rest of questions
- Don’t worry about what you don’t know. Practice Asanas, Pranayama & meditation to develop your power of concentration
- Have faith in divine providence that your sincerity, focus & hard work will certainly pay you dividends
- Plan your time, keeping an extra 30 minutes in hand in the exam for final revision
