The resurgence of COVID-19 has hit the engineering entrance exam season. Due to the rising COVID-19 cases and restrictions implemented by the states, the authorities keeping in mind, the safety of the students, have postponed various engineering exams. National-level engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main (April session) as well as state and private level exams have been delayed and new dates will be announced after the authorities assess the COVID-19 situation. List of Engineering Entrance Exams Postponed due to COVID-19

JEE Main 2021 (April Session)

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of JEE Main 2021 (April session) on April 18 on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. The computer-based entrance examination was scheduled to be held on April 27, 28, 29 and 30. The authorities are expected to announce the new JEE Main 2021 exam dates 15 days prior to the entrance examination. JEE Main 2021 admit card for the April session is also yet to be released.

CG PET 2021

Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) has decided for CG PET 2021 postponement due to the rising COVID-19 cases and the restrictions imposed on the state. CG PET 2021 application form was to be released on April 22, however, the process has been delayed. CG PET 2021, which was to be held on June 17 has also been postponed till further notice. New dates will be announced on the official website – vyapam.cgstate.gov.in after assessing the COVID-19 situation.

UPCET 2021

Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) has been postponed by National Testing Agency (NTA). The entrance examination for state-level admissions into various UG, PG and lateral courses will now be held on June 15, as a computer-based test. UPCET 2021 application form is also available till May 10 on the official website – upcet.nta.nic.in. Previously known as UPSEE, UPCET 2021 will not be conducted for BTech admissions as students will be selected based on JEE Main scores.

AMUEEE 2021

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has declared the postponement of the AMUEEE 2021 exam date. The entrance examination was to be held on June 27, however, due to the COVID-19 resurgence, the authorities have withdrawn the AMUEEE 2021 schedule. Fresh schedule for the entrance exam will be notified by the authorities amucontrollerexams.com in due time. AMUEEE 2021 application form is also yet to be released.
