KCET 2015 Result Analysis
KCET 2015 Result : The results of KCET 2015 were declared on June 1, 2015 by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on its official website.
The exam was held on May 12 and May 13 at 343 exam centres across the state. KCET for Kannada language was conducted on May 14 for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga aspirants.
Earlier, KCET 2015 results were to be declared by May 26, however, the results were postponed to June 1. Along with KCET 2015 results, KEA has also released KCET 2015 final answer keys.
If reports are to believed, this year, Bengaluru students have topped in six out of seven streams in KCET 2015. However, the Bengaluru’s overall ranking has dipped. Around 39 students have bagged the top 10 ranks in the seven stream in KCET 2015. Last year, as many as 45 candidates topped these streams.
Students from Bangalore have secured the top five ranks in Medical and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rank in Engineering. Two Horanadu students have secured top ranks in Engineering and architecture. While one has bagged the top rank in Engineering, the other has secured the fifth place in architecture.

This year, less grace marks have been awarded as compared to the last two years. In the year 2015, 16 grace marks was granted, while in 2013, it was 18. However, this year, aspirants got eight grace marks. Out of this, three were for Biology, two each for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
